Is this 14 day ban for real?

Soo i have couple of questions.. since when is 1 game enough to get a 14 day ban? More importantly i really dont feel like this is 14 day ban worthy if it was even for 3 games lol soo. I was literally stunned when i got a message my account got suspended :D cuz i already played couple of games today im not rly toxic and i mostly ignore ppl when they are but this guys trully anoyed me at end of game . I figured the rant at end of game was unnecessary but i didnt flame anyone before that and in the meantime top laner jax was wishing death on everybody including enemy team( i completly ignored him entire game) mid vlad was spamming report,report,report jung noob all game long (meanwhile i was trying to help him itemize but he was clearly a 8yo kid or smth) and bot lane was inviting me into threesome(which i obviously declined at start of game as noted) so wth is this actually? Someone gonna tell me this is 14 day suspension for real? Your opening line of in game chat is a zero tolerance word and it's repeated literally 3 lines later.

Definitely warranted, just watch your account after you get to playing again, after a 2 week it's really thin ice to get a perma, just try to be positive and stay away from hate speech.

So the simple answer here is that yes, this is a deserved band, because the word you used to insult those players is considered hate speech in the form of a homophobic slur.

The longer answer is that use of a different word would have avoided the immediate 14-day ban, but would likely have still earned a punishment. The League community is not one that is okay with the use of the word gay as an insult or negative quality, and nor is it okay with calling other players noobs or saying "bad game" at the end of the game.

I definitely do understand your frustration though, because we've all encountered frustrating in game situations or players who seem like they have no goal in the game other than to lose the game and antagonize us as much as possible in the process. It's really irritating when it happens, and it definitely makes people feel like venting.

The important thing to keep in mind is that the rules apply to all situations. It doesn't matter if someone else insulted you first, someone else is intentionally trying to ruin your game, or you just had the worst day of your life: there are behavioral rules in League that must be followed, and if you do not follow--for ANY reason-- you may face punishment.

My personal recommendation is to find other words to express your irritation or find an out of game outlet for your frustration such as a stress ball, or cursing at the screen.

Hate speech nets you an instant 14 day ban, or permaban if you've already had a 14 day ban.

For real? Of course, surprised you didn't get a permaban. But I doubt you'll be here long with that kind of attitude.

When people say "thin ice after a 14-day", they're serious. You can pick up a permaban for milder things than got you the 14-day. I do hope you can avoid that; more players is better.

Just how hard can it be to look up the words that are for sure gonna get you banned? I mean, it's literally a 3 minute Google search.

Well, there is also the possibility you got suspended for more than 1 games, though they didnt show. But that shouldnt confuse you. You can get a perma-ban for just 1 game. So, 14 days shouldnt be a surprise...
