Honoring the other team

Why did they do away with "Honorable Opponent"? Some players deserve to be honored for keeping cool when their team is getting slaughtered and not raging in /all chat. The new Team Honor option is cool and all but how about being able to show the opposing team how well they did too?

There was already a Riot response on a highly upvoted post stating that honoring opponents is planned and that honor is very early on for features.
