What is with the league of legends community?

I just played a 45 min game that started off with 3 of my teammates running it down mid. No joke. I was so upset that instead of just quitting I decided to farm my jg and report them at the end. Well the Syndra started following me around in the jg and stealing the monsters with her w and such so that the camps would reset. I ended up flamming them the whole game and I am not proud of it. I said some things I do regret but I had no other way to vent. If I had just quit then I would have been the one in trouble and nothing would have happened to the 3 players who qued up together to int in other peoples games. I am fairly certain they even DDOS me but I don't even care about that because I cannot prove it.

I recorded the game because I knew the bans system would let them slip through the cracks because their match history showed that they don't do that all the time. So I looked around for some place to get help reporting these players in a more official way but I couldn't find one. I went put the video on youtube and posted it on Reddit hoping for anything to come of it but just like anything else on Reddit it immediately received a bunch of downvotes (I expected as much). Well I looked on league forums and everywhere I could think of and Riot has made it so that calling out players and anything like it is against the rules. They also made it so that the ONLY way to report a player is through their report system at the end of games.

I had to vent somewhere and I figure anyone else on this reading through this area of the league of legends boards has experienced this as well. I just don't know what more I can do but what I do know is that it isn't fair that others will HAVE to play with those 3 inters. I went to their op.gg accounts and saw that they have been playing for YEARS. Clearly nothing will be done about them and I just don't know what to do. I don't want to quit league because me and my friends and family have invested so much time and money on the game. I just don't see any way that I can go on playing this game when Riot tries so hard to ignore behavior like theirs but will ban someone for little things. I guess I just came here looking for hope in this community in some way. Everywhere that anyone has discussed this happening to them has resulted in a lot of "QQ" and "baby rage" from the community. I just want to believe there are good people playing this game. This isn't even about me getting inted but how the community treats people who get inted. I just feel hopeless because of how much I have put in this game and for what I have gotten out of it.

Support ticket, questions about league, and then one of those options..... Cant remember which one, ill have a look.

But that is how you report them through support ticket. It goes to Riot support that way.

My younger brother told me to do that but I have only been playing for about 1 year now and could not find how to turn in a support ticket. I went to the support page on their website and could not find anyway to report further. All I found was their page saying how you must report people on the end game screen after the match. I feel punished by riot for having to sit through that game just to report them. It makes me feel like a vindictive jerk for waiting through 45 minutes of that... I will probably be punished for what I said to them in chat but if it means that they cannot rune other peoples games then I will take that bullet.

If you can find a way to help me turn in a support ticket I would be very appreciative. If not don't stress. You don't owe me anything.

Since I am on the phone it may be different for me atm..... I know on the computer it is at the very top "submit a ticket", on the phone there is a little 3 bar drop down menu button that has it.

Still have to go to the support page and log in though.

I went through the options for submitting a ticket and none of them are for reporting players. The only are on this website about reporting players is the faq about what is reportable and what isn't and how to report at the end of a match. I think Riot just doesn't want to deal with it. I don't blame them I am sure they get hundreds of thousands of reports just like mine. It just makes me feel really hopeless how they have intentionally left out a way to report people other than at the end of the match. We all know how well that reporting system works. /s

I don't mean to come off as rude btw. I am just having a hard time.

Read my edit to the first comment. That is how i sent a report of my own. Admittedly, they do mention that players are generally not punished that way, but in certain circumstances it could help. If nothing else than it is for piece of mind.

And yes, it works quite well. I have gotten multiple "this player has been punished" feedbacks. You just also have to keep in mind that you will not ALWAYS get them when someone you reported gets punished.

Thank you for the help. I took several screenshots. I would rather show them the video but I am guessing if they actually care from the screenshots they can access the game and see what happened for themselves.

Ive been playing for 4 years and have not had any issues with it. Make sure everything with a red * by it has its information filled out and has something in it. Often times there is simple fixes to problems like that. Might ask your little brother for help with making the support ticket if you still can not get it to work.

Riot is not out to get you. I personally have gotten nothing but help from them, and i have been playing for 4ish years. You easily could be having a "self fulfilling prophecy" moment of "riot doesnt care, so i doubt this would work anyways" and so it doesnt. Yes, our own personal thoughts can have real life impacts in things we did not think they could. Just double check to make sure everything that needs to be filled out is filled out and try again.

But yes, when you did the report at the end of the game screen, make sure to put in the comments "kept running down mid lane and feeding." etc, and for the Syndra you would include "also followed me around in the jungle and grabbed my camps to toss them away so they would reset." pretty much short explaination of what each person did individually. This is how to make the best use of the report system at the end of game screen.

That is ofcourse for future reference, but yeah. Also, if you just ignore a troll, you will often make them bored and they will leave you alone because you are not giving them any reaction that they are wanting.

I went through the whole process and no matter what when I attempt to submit the ticket it says "Oops! There were some field errors."

I filled out everything as appropriately as I could and even tried several times by refreshing the page and typing everything and adding the screenshots again. This website won't let me message them in any way and I am not sure if I believe it is accidental...

I agree. I bring up a valid point that Riot avoids reports and the community doesn't care. Oh well. I just need to get over it. There's nothing I can do about it and there's nothing Riot will do about it. Guess I shouldn't be spending so much time and money on this game anyways. It feels like there is no justice.

Riot is putting in a new system to actually reward players who get honored at the end of a match, and so if the rewards are juicy enough it should bring the community together to play nice for that reason alone.

community is not getting better

its only going to get worse over time, i dont know why things are so strict, as its only making it worse as well.
