My boy. She THREW a game because she disliked my support. All i said was i felt like her behavior was pathetic. WHich in my opinion it still is. She intfeeded.

You probably weren't punished for the negativity although that could have played a part in it. Most likely what happened was you use the N word in an acceptable context and your friend you were talking to was fine with it. However the MF was salty that you called them out for acting like a child, so they reported you for harassing them. The IFS reviewed your chat, and noticed the zero-tolerance phrases and thus it decided to slap a ban onto your account for using hate speech.

They don't usually jump straight to a ban unless the player uses hate speech, such as a derogatory term for people of one race or another. You did this, so I would be willing to bet that this is why you got banned. Even if it wasn't why you got reported in the first place. At the very most you might have received a chat restriction or maybe even no punishment if you hadn't said the N word that game.

My first piece of advice on this is to just not say stuff that could be interpreted as racist or derogatory if taken out of context, that way if somebody reports you for something else the IFS won't trigger on you and take a shit on your account like it did here.

Keep this in mind too; after receiving a 14-day ban you are skating on very thin ice. Even just general negativity like the other stuff you said could put you at risk for receiving the next tier of punishment which happens to be a permanent ban. Be careful amigo, and consider carefully if it is worth losing your account to call people out for being the idiots that they are.

If I may offer some more advice, I know that it sucks to get idiots like that MF in your games. It's a huge pain in the ass, and they absolutely deserve the shit they catch for it. But it's not worth it to do it yourself and put yourself at risk for getting punished. You're better off ignoring them and reporting them for Riot to deal with. Their behavior will catch up to them eventually.

Lastly, I know how frustrating it can be to get idiots and vindictive fools on your team. I actually wrote a whole post on how to lead these sorts of people in a game, and how to communicate with them without getting into arguments and without risking being reported. well... My behavior is not and has never been perfect. Some time ago i got a 2 week ban. It is far back by now. Regardless, this means that the ban is permanent. That is why it really sucks.

Ah I see. I am sorry to hear that. Unfortunately due to the nature of your chat logs and for the reasons I've outlined previously, Riot will probably feel that this ban was justified and will likely not lift it.

If you ever decide to play again with a new account, then my advice may still prove useful for you. But that aside, I wish you luck in the rest of your endeavors in life.

Constant harassment - it doesn't matter what she did or didn't do, doesn't give you the right to harass/abuse her.

The %%%% was me saying 'My nig(g)er'. Not as a way of cursing. It was said in a friendly way, which the person who i said it to clearly understod.

The fact you were reported for that game throws the assumption into question.

Considering how offensive that term is considered to be, are you really surprised that it is not allowed in an online game?

Just because some people are allowed to say it does not make it okay for you to say it in an environment where nobody can tell if you are one of those people.

That word, ESPECIALLY with the hard-R, is unacceptable to wide swaths of people. Since there's no possible way for you to know who you're speaking to, or for your teammates to know who you are, you can't possibly use that word in a context that you know is understood and accepted.

The %%% is my (nig)ger. It was not said in an offensive way. It was like: My boy / My bro /. I have no idea if you can spectate the game and still see the chats, but if you where to do so, you would see that it wasnt said to offend anyone, nor did it do so.

An automated system cannot determine your intent. Using that word in any context would have the same result.

And i get that. Which is why i thought i would post the chat logs here. I think the problem is, that the word is getting loaded with values it does not posses. It has almost become a movement for the internet to load words with meanins they do not posses. and in cases like this, i get banned not for calling player 2's behaviour pathetic, but for saying uttering a friendly comment, but using a word which by definition of a disfunctioning system is bad.

Sure, but the rules don't really care what your beliefs are regarding the use of slurs, and your teammates have no idea what your intent is when you use them.

Let's say you made a greedy play that doesn't work. Perhaps an ambitious tower dive that results in giving up two kills for nothing. You say in chat "Wow, look at how jewish I am XD". You don't mean shit by it. Maybe you've got Jewish friends. Maybe you ARE Jewish. But you have no idea that I'm on your team, and to me, a stranger just invoked my culture as the butt of a joke about negative stereotypes. That could very reasonably make me upset. I have no good way of determining what your intentions were when you said what you said, nor should I have to. You should keep that shit to yourself.

on a sidenote. I should obviously not have used the word, if i had known the consequenses of it. regardless. I did. And now i got permabanned for a game not that toxic.

In my opinion, i did not flame her, just pointed out my disapproval of her behavior. and like mentioned. The so-called-hate speech was not even targeted at her, nor was it hate speech.

^This bit right here is what caused the ban. Avoiding those terms should avoid any other punishments, seeing how the rest of the chat isn't really toxic and mostly seems like a minor disagreement.

However, due to the standing that a 14-day ban (if that's what was received) leaves on the account, I'd suggest muting players instead of disagreeing with them for the time being, since any punishments close after a 14-day (if that's what it was) gives a permaban.

Better safe than sorry for now.

The longer story is that certain behaviours fall under the zero-tolerance bucket which is why it may seem like a (14-day I assume?) ban out of nowhere. The zero-tolerance bucket includes death-threats, sexism, and racism.

The irony of the story is; player 2 intfeeded. I called her out. She reported me. I got banned for saying: " I did all i could my nig(g)er to player 3, ment and received in a friendly manner. This is also the reason i posted the chat logs here. Because, it to me seems like a rather unfair ban. Yes i have a history of flaming (though it has been some time since my 2 weeks ban). Regardless it still sucks.

After a 14-day ban an account is very sensitive, and it warns the player that any punishments afterwards (even if they're just chat-restriction worthy which the above is beyond that) will result in a permaban.

^This is what made it a perma instead of a 14-day ban. Most players don't make it past the first set of chat restrictions in terms of punishments.

After working all the way through the escalating system eventually the player shows they aren't going to change their behaviour and they get a perma since otherwise they will keep negatively affecting people's games.

I can't seem to check the posting history of the account but I wish we could have discussed this at the time of the 14-day ban or chat restrictions so we could have tried to avoid the permaban.

My 14-day ban was a 100 % deserved. But it is far back at this point. I have changed for the better. Not perfect and I will never be, but in my opinion (besides the %% words) it isn't the worst of behavior? I simply called an int-feeder out on his bs. Should I have? No. But is it worthy of a ban? probably not. especially considering how far back the 2-week ban goes.

IRL time or game time? It takes many many games of neutral behaviour to get the account back in good standing.

If there is slight negative chat undertones in there it takes even longer since those would be "steps backwards" so to speak, so the account standing wouldn't really improve.

Hopefully, they will consider the circumstances and the context of which the illegal word was used.

There's another option rather than calling them out. Just act like they're NPCs. Can't really get mad at a "looks to be inting" MF bot, that would be silly. Most of the time it's not chat that's really worthwhile anyways; they'll ping if it's something useful.

Could get a lucky break, it's a longshot but I wish you luck nonetheless.
