^This bit right here is what caused the ban. Avoiding those terms should avoid any other punishments, seeing how the rest of the chat isn't really toxic and mostly seems like a minor disagreement.

However, due to the standing that a 14-day ban (if that's what was received) leaves on the account, I'd suggest muting players instead of disagreeing with them for the time being, since any punishments close after a 14-day (if that's what it was) gives a permaban.

Better safe than sorry for now.

The longer story is that certain behaviours fall under the zero-tolerance bucket which is why it may seem like a (14-day I assume?) ban out of nowhere. The zero-tolerance bucket includes death-threats, sexism, and racism.
