New season new levels of toxicity

As with most people I started this new ranked season with hopes of reaching higher levels in ranked and trying to put a best foot forward.

I worked tirelessly for two weeks to get from bronze to gold in my first season, and then due to work couldn't find the time in S5 to climb any higher than gold 3. So starting this season when I have some free time I really hoped to try press forward and try get forward early but like many not only have i been condemned back to the depths of elo that I so struggled to get out of earlier.

And I find more and more each day that I am actually becominga more toxic player, but I also think this to not totally be my fault but who is to blame then? For instance if I know that someone has never played Jhin before (ever in the history of earths existence) whilst selecting in a ranked game and I ask said person to perhaps pick a champion they can play or know how to play or have runes for (Just maybe a good idea) rather than the brand new champ . That person picks them anyway

he feeds we lose hard I get reported for pointing out what a stupid idea it was in the first place (perhaps not so nicely) but none the less still a very valid point as some people obviously only learn from mistakes.

Now, said persons ruined my game made me angry through their own ignorance and stupidity and I have been reported by him & his friends... I am noticing a flaw. It is not my responsibility to have the patience of a holy saint to tolerate others behaviour and, I always believe others should speak their mind. I'm Irish we tend to do it anyway. Maybe players should be encouraged to mute people rather than report, if you make bad mistakes constantly it shouldn't give you the right to get someone else banned, YOU did it its YOUR fault, had you not done something stupid it wouldn't have happened? Its not like if you performed well said Flamer would have still been insulting you?

The reason for this post is that I'm wondering do others find themselves being more toxic, playing with people of lower skill levels ( I know gold it basically nothing to many but lets pretend it isn't to some of us). Honestly My stress levels have never been so high looking at my team mates now and I consider stopping playing altogether having to climb again, but honestly its like trying to get four dead rabbits to run a mile. Everyday the more people I find playing their first ranked match etc just kills me a little.

Anyways I find the quite peaceful happy gamer that use to cheer teammates on and never flame always keep a cool head, is dying out and the little angry child is coming out with each toxic, insulting or abusive person I come across. When in Rome I guess?

Does anyone ever consider it to be not the fault of the person flaming? Surely there are circumstances? Any advice? and Ideas? something before I well and truly lose the rag at some player, is it my fault is it my team mates both perhaps... Maybe I'm venting, maybe I'm just completely terrible at the game and deserve the elo hell I'm at. Who knows, but what I do know is this, For every first time Jhin in ranked that appears and ruins 4 other peoples games. My spirit will be with the person giving out to them for making such a stupid decision on behalf of the team and I disagree with the ban you end up receiving, and I do believe there should be circumstances that allow for flaming (no racism, not homophobia, no aggression based on race, creed or religion, sect) To be quite honest even writing this has helped a little... somehow Thanks for reading, have a good day.

Not even reading any further, because you're wrong. It is your fault. Only YOU are responsible for what you say and do in this game, and in life. Two wrongs don't make a right, and retaliation is every bit as toxic as any other type of flaming.
