After getting penalized, does the status "reset" after a while, or no?

Let me explain. So I have multiple accounts. My oldest, main account, I used to be quite toxic on. I easily got triggered and flamed my teammates, so I had a couple of penalties on it, up until the 2 week ban. From what I know, after the 2 week ban it's a perma. This is a while back now and I think I'm doing ok now. Have been doing good imo on all my account.

So, since it's my main with all my champions I like to buy skins and champions on it with RP. However, I always have the thought in the back of my head that if I slip once, it might get permabanned and I lose all the money I'm spending. My question is, does it reset after a while where you, let's say, get a higher threshold for punishment or w/e so you don't get an insta permaban. If that's the case I'd rather not buy stuff on my main for it being possibly a waste.

3-6 months of good behavior (assuming an average amount of games) should drop your punishments at least one tier.

I know that when you get a dodge timer, up to the 40 minute timer, after a while of good behavior you will have the timer reset to the normal 5 minute timer. I'd figure that ban timers work the same way
