Getting banned because of a toxic team

During a game I had just played, I had gone riven jungle as I sometimes do when lee gets banned or its just not a good match up. Anyway, during the course of this game I invaded the enemy jg and nearly got a kill, only to be chased out by the mid and top laners. After this happened, i went towards top lane to get to tower before dying. While going the enemy mao and noct followed me, and for some reason teemo didn't even budge and then died while i had like 60 hp. After that, the whole team, including the enemy team went off on how it was my fault teemo died and how I could've saved saved him when he had no map awareness and didn't even try to help me get out but instead stayed top and cs'd. anyway, straight after he started saying how hes going to run it down on and intent feed because of the fact that it was my fault somehow. Anyway the whole 9 other players in the game flamed me, cussing me out and then evidently all reported me in the end, resulting in me getting a 2 week ban. Why is this fair; like the rest of the game I just carried on playing and ignored them constantly flaming me on how I could've saved Teemo. I have played this game since season 5 but just started to play ranked this season seeing I started college and have a bit more free time. But why should I be banned for the fact I barely lived, the teemo saw me coing being followed, and didnt get off the enemy turret and walk back to tower, or at less help me? I really think, after never being banned before, why this should even happen. I mean of course when it broke out at first I said how teemo was unhelpful and how he didn't even come. I dont get why I'm banned over this, please help.
