Good Guys, Never Win!?

Sad to say...

I feel less and less motivated to play league of legends with friends almost every time I get around to it! Every experience I have on league as of lately has not been one of enjoyment. It's either someone on my team who I do not know or the enemy team over such silly instances being blown out of proportion. I feel as if there isn't a comfort anymore when playing a league- I rarely meet a single person or a group of people who play to simply have fun. Even in normal matches the smallest bit of hope is quickly crushed.

I experienced a match as of recent... Actually my last match on league where playing as a support and securing a kill on the enemy teams ADC awarded me with nothing but flaming from the enemy team. A teamfight had gone in my teams favor and we ended up coming out on top with 3/5 members of the enemy team being slain. As a support poppy I was able to chase down the ADC Jhin who was at 10% HP and make it 4/5. After killing him within moments I was awarded with "Was it worth?" by the enemy team. With my own response of "Yes, it raised my teams morale." which it did since I was given a few congratulations with my friends I was playing with. The game had not been going in our favor with the bit of lack of communication and bad start so it really was a pleasant glimmer of hope to see winning a teamfight.

For the last few minutes of the game until the defeat I endured the constant flame messages from the enemy team without replying in a manner that would be seen as "unsportsmanlike" or "toxic". When I finally got to have my word at the end of the match I decided to have a bit of fun with it. The game was over and I was being pestered through the last few minutes. After a little bit of my own trolling in the results menu for 2 - 3 minutes.. I was threatened with being reported by someone who only a few minutes ago was doing far worse!

It's games like this that make me question why I come back to play League. I've played similar games such as league throughout time where I actually am able to have fun with friends. Everything is much more leisurely and relaxed and some game modes though not the norm bring more enjoyment for me since everyone in the game sees it as just having fun. Everyone wants to win, but even if you were to experience defeat you would of still had fun had a few moments where you were able to come out on top.

Closing my little bit of a rant I'd wonder how anyone else would approach something like this, maybe how they feel I suppose? I'd welcome any advice on the situation.
