The Supports that only wanna blow stuff up

So why is it that every other game I play, when I go bot being the AD Carry, I get unlucky enough to have a support that wants to be a damage dealer that's typically a mid champion? (ex: Brand in a previous game) Then out of the blue wanna blame me when I'm 0/1/2 for feeding and yet he hasn't let me get credit for many of the kills? Can we fix this or are people just that dumb to not select mid and wait in the lobby for a match like the rest of us that want a good game?

Death is the best CC though.

When playing with strangers, I prefer playing Vel'Koz support. If the ADC sucks, I want to be able to deal damage to make up for it.

And come on, "getting credit for many of the kills"? I may be biased as a support main, but getting kills in botlane is always a team effort. And if you are 0/1/2 there either have not yet been "many kills" or you were not there in the first place anyway. Why should you get the credit and not your support? Is this about stroking your ego?

If your support is killing your lane opponent, and you aren't putting your enemy ADC crazy behind in CS, the problem isn't with your support.

Stealing CS, or messing up your ability to last hit by attacking minions is very frustrating, but there are ways to address it without exploding. If they are really messing with your ability to generate gold, just report.

oh lord another one of these ADC's. I like playing zyra support because when that crappy adc fails I can help pick up the slack. In low elo it is every woman for herself lets be real. If you can't last hit that's your business. Credit for kills? LOL no one is stopping you from getting a kill, and honestly it's a joint effort, someone like brand support likely put out more damage than you did getting that kill and has every right to secure it if you can't manage to do so. It isn't just about them not wanting to wait for mid, everyone has their own play style. You play what fits you.

The ADC is usually a slow and frail character that needs money money money and takes some items to come into their own. Thus, the ADC by its nature needs farm and must take risks to do so, risks that a support with some CC, shielding, or heals could help mitigate. But If you're playing no support move supports and wondering why either A: your ADC is getting killed too much and not getting enough kills or B: playing too passive and missing out on CS well your pick of a support that can't mitigate the risks for your ADC is a huge contributing factor. And by choosing a character that is all about killing, well you chose going in to get kills and screw over your ADC and the rest of the team too. So don't hand me this BS about how they can't last hit. No. You can't refrain from last hitting and you chose to do it going in. And unless you play with that particular adc a bit well you had no clue how good he was when you decided to do it.

Honestly, your post seems like you lack an understanding of how bot lane can be played. Poke supports and mage supports have been around a long time and are completely viable. They're NOT only there to feed you kills. Their job is to prevent the lane from becoming a 2v1 and allow you to cs. However they pull this off is acceptable.

It's just an incorrect assumption by many ADC's with limited understanding of the lane to think they need every cs (even if they'd have missed it anyway) and every kill (even though they get assists). I went 3/1/0 on sion a couple games ago as a support. Dominated the lane, allowed the Ezreal to get 40 cs ahead. He's 0/1/3 and complains I'm not handing him kills. I'm fed at this point though and can run train (pun intended) on their whole team. I then get him a dozen kills and end the game with a 6.0 KDA. The Ez ends the game 12/7/15 (and the deaths are mainly cause he tried to be a hero without me :D

Keep trying. Know that the "pro" play you watch is just their play style. It's not what MUST occur in order for you to do well. It's good to have your main damage dealer be well tuned but it's not the only way things can go well for your team. Playing into your teams strengths is how you win games. And if your brand is blowing people up. Help him do it...

if I zone them out, poke them out, even kill them. and yet you can't farm properly and get a CS lead with proper wave management, I will start taking CS and taking over the game.

Its not like you are doing dmg anyways. might as well let someone else carry you that game.

Just because it used to be call AD Carry (it's marksman now), doesn't mean you are the one carrying all the time.
