Tribunal, support, and losing consumers.
I had a compromised account and it got permanently banned due to toxicity. I contacted customer support to save my account and hoping for best service. All I received in return, in basic terms "You're account is toxic good-bye, we don't want you here."
Here is what I had to go through below, take a look at the ridiculous support I went through. I am overseas and found out my account was banned per e-mail, when I look into it i find out my brother got onto my account and got it banned. I contact them trying to resolve the issue and this is all they give me. Riot doesn't seem to honestly care about their consumers. They just want the money and rid of you when you can't spend anymore.

Your account has been permanently banned after being escalated through multiple levels of punishment by our disciplinary audits.
To see the most recent games which led to this action, please log in to the client to view your reform card. While we do our best at Riot Games to encourage reform, we permanently remove players who continue to create negative experiences from our game.
This action is only taken after repeat punishments and we will not lift the suspension under any circumstance.
Although this marks the end of the line, we’re confident that with some reflection you will be able to avoid this kind of situation with whatever new games you decide to play.
Please keep in mind that account sharing of any kind is against our Terms of Use, and any further incidences of sharing will ultimately result in account suspension. Below is a relevant excerpt of our Terms of Use:
"C. Login Credentials. In creating an Account, you will be required to select a unique username and password (collectively, “Login Credentials”), which you will use each time you access the Game. You may not share your Account with anyone other than as expressly set forth herein, and you are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Login Credentials and for any and all activities (including purchases and charges, as applicable) that are conducted through your Account. Please notify Riot Games immediately if you become aware of any breach of security, including any loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure of your Login Credentials."

My login credentials were not shared with my brother, I had given him my computer to use as well seeing as I am not using it overseas. On my pc i have a program that autofills my passwords for certain clients and websites bevause I did not want to type them in myaelf. I can understand that with this kind of behavior an account should be banned. Here is the issue, 1 it was not I the owner of the account that did the wrong doing. I appologize for my brothers mistakes and I wish to be able to come back to play on the account I invested so much time and money on when I am done with my tour. I can assure you that I will change the credentials to this account immediately so my "toxic" brother is no longer on it. I hope you can understand the injustice in banning an account from someone that wasn't even actually on it himself. I have always appreciated the game and the community and I know that I had my own toxic moments in the past, but I have no desire in being so rude and distasteful to others that simply play the game for the same enjoyment that I do. When I was younger I had a terrible attitude and before joining the military I had no respect for others.
I would hope that we could be able to take a different approach for this seeing as this is more of a case of a lost account than an actual offender due to the fact that I myself am not able to access the account, at this moment. I did not give permission for my brother to access the account, I forgot to secure it properly leaving the program available for him to access it. I did not realize he would ever think of playing on my account.

This is why we ask Summoners to keep their account credentials secure. As the account owner, you are held individually responsible for any and all activities on the account. While we can help players recover their account, we can't turn a blind eye any negative activity that occurred on their account while it was shared or compromised. The other players had no idea it wasn't you on the account. We will have to remain firm in the decision to permanently ban the account.

Understandable for me to keep them secure. I did not realize when I had left for duty that giving my brother my computer to use would cause issues. I understand that the toxicity is not allowed and I understand the consequences. But you are currently holding someone innocent quilty. If anything we should be going through an account recovery right now. But instead you guys are justifying why my account is banned. I understand why it should be banned if it were myself on the account. It was a stolen account at the time of toxicity. I am a big promoter of league and riot and have always spoke well of the company and game. I don't want to turn around and start telling people of the negativity I am getting with you due to the fact that I was not in control of my own account.

I'd also like to add to this, just a little thought. If a man's car is stolen and it is used in a crime, do you think that he should be punished? Right now you are saying that you would side on the thought of charging the innocent victim with the crimes of the man how victimized him. Seems a bit outrageous.

Wow, I thought videogamedunkey was wrong, looks like you really don't care about your consumers. You just want to take the chances that they may make a new account and spend more money. Unfortunately that swing is going to end at some point for you guys. "Consistently", the problem with this statement is that it is consistently from someone that was not allowed to be on my account. My account was compromised, and yet you are not trying to save a customer, you are just saying that you rather not have me because my account was toxic. You have no care about my negative experience here. I was never on this account myself for the past 3 months. So instead of helping me recover my account or give me a new one of equal value, you rather just shove me away.
If we want to talk about negative experience, your support here hasn't made me feel as if you even care. You just basically have said "nope, don't care." This is the same negative behavior that I have seen from people that play the game that ruin it. So it makes me question what kind of values you hold true to yourself. I'm sorry that your community is known as the worst community out there, and I understand you want to fix it. But banning someone's account that was compromised during the outrageous amount of toxicity is ridiculous.

I suppose that the ticket is closed seeing as you are not willing to do anything to help my cause, just walk away with my money and lose a consumer. Hopefully you guys can't continue to maintain your rates with this kind of service. I'm sorry that it seems you guys are falling off the short end. This ticket is closed if you are going to honestly just push away a big supporter of the game.
