I love the game, but it's too much.

Had a wonderful time playing for a good year. Got myself out of bronze, and met some good people. However, I don't intend to continue playing. It's not the game, it's the toxicity. I shouldn't have to come back from work everyday and play, only to end up more stressed than when I began.

If I ever hear about Riot cracking down harder on toxic behavior, I'll be more than happy to rejoin the community.

Riot, please be a little more serious about this. In the long run, toxicity in players will only stunt your company's growth. I look forward to the day the issue is solved.

Have a wonderful season, and of course, gl and hf.

I entered one of those gaming shops the other day looking for some stuff. The shop also had an online gaming section where you can play your game while charged by the hour. Well, i was stunned by what i saw when i approached those pc's. There were about 20 kids UNDER 11-12 years old playing League. They ALL cursed, tilted, threw, kept typing in chat and generally simply pressed random buttons while controlling their champs. In other words, not only should Riot apply a stricter policy regarding toxicity BUT, parents should be made aware of what games their brats are playing and how they are behaving.

Toxic meta brings out toxic players. Blame the garbage unbalanced state of the game.

why can't you just mute people who bother you?

Fovere5/30/2016, 12:44:27 AM3 votes

muting doesn't solve behavior problems.

When your premade support decides to go play with top and jungle and leave you 1v2 in lane, and then end up still feeding, its just not fun.

If you want to have fun then have fun. Pick unconventional champions and don't play ranked. Get some friends together and play some ultimate bravery or something. Yeah the community's toxic but get past that and get back to actually having fun instead of worrying about winning every single game.

the easiest way is just to mute someone if they flame you or simply try to ignore it (ik it's not as easy as it sounds but music or another distraction can help)

Toxic meta and toxic game related behavior =toxicity in chat.

Constant meta and largescale game changes leads to imbalance in the meta = more resentment.

Premades, ping spamming, Bm =gameplay behavior that causes toxicity

People being oversensitive and abusing the mute button = cause toxicity

People trolling for the hell of it (happens in premade) = cause toxicity

Lag = leads to toxicity

DCing = leads to toxicity.

Well I'm a pretty toxic player but you know I'm only toxic because of: feeders, op champions, kids who are dumb AF, and much trolls

Totally agree, no more to be said.

They do crack down hard, it's just impossible to get to everyone in time.

Just mute everyone man, i had to start doing that because people wanna report you no matter what. If you get some toxic troll and they die a couple times and all you say is nice gj they get so pissed off and start making up lies to tell the other team and to tell them to report you. Its fucking crazy. I swear the average age on this game now is 12. It has to be. There's so many immature people who just wanna report you just because they can. Im sick of it.

Word. Just posted about this myself, though my exit wasn't as voluntary, i decided to handle toxic people in league the same as I would irl once I realized there was a large part of the community that would ruin the experience without more than a slap on the wrist from rito.

Just for your information. There will always be people who are toxic and rude. You will eventually have to learn to deal with them, if you're leaving because of the toxicity and it's too stressful then I can understand it, but you're going to have to understand that not everyone is going to be nice to you man, and switching to a different multiplayer won't solve this issue either. Best of luck.

Chromekatana5/31/2016, 12:20:20 PM1 votes

I would rather play with a toxic player that is good than a nice player that sucks.

I think that you are being overly sensitive due to playing a competitive game and not being happy. Are there trolls and ragers, yes no argument on that. But you will be hard pressed to find a PVP game that does not have this.

Not every activity is for every type of person and competitive games (real sports and video games) are not about relaxation. Play a PVE game for relation, their are many titles that have this. The point of PVP is to enjoy the STRESS and WORK towards victory and self improvement. You can take league seriously without playing SR rank games. Their are people that are totally passionate about being the best at ARAMs.

Riot does not need to crack down harder since people make honest mistakes and slip up. I think the causal players need to understand and get a grip on their emotions. Stop expecting league to be something that it will never be. It will never be the place to go and relax with strangers. There are all types of people playing for different reason per game.

I think that it is smart that you are leaving league. Not cause it is a toxic place but it is not what you want at the end of the day. I wish you luck finding a PVE game that will make you happy.

/mute all at start of the game. Problem solved. Toxicity was always there, and always will be. If you can't handle it just mute and move on.
