Why Do Silver/Bronzes Players Playing Support Not Buy Sightstone??

this is like the core item of a support, right? Whether u play support (which i hate) or or even. Why the hell are players playing in the support position not buying this item?? Hey you might not like supporting and sometimes your have too, we all in OCE know the feeling, but even in champion selection, throw it out there someone else might support, but if not please don't ignore the team when they say "can you please buy a "

I really believe that Riot needs to post the Importance of how vision can help with ambushes and help stop them. I also believe that helps win games and is a big part in losing if not purchased.

You're the one who brought up internet and other costs. The point I was making is that THE GAME is free and if someone were not able to pay for a laptop then they could always go to a gaming cafe for a small price. Also your sentences are hard to follow with your grammar.

When you do it at the expense of others you're pretty spoiled. Doing whatever the fuck you want because you "can" even if it inconveniences others is selfish. Play how you want in normals. I just played a game where a support like OP described single handedly made 2 people on my team quit League, on of them even got demoted because of that game.

No, they quit because he went full carry support Teemo and completely refused to his job as a support or cooperate with anyone throughout the game. He was completely fucking useless and single handedly cost us the game. Our ADC even got demoted because of that game despite the fact that HE played well.

He wasn't just being bad, though, he was being completely uncooperative and even outright being a smartass when we asked basically anything of him. As a matter of fact he would often just sit in stealth contributing nothing to teamfights while everyone around him died. He was pretty damn close to trolling. All he cared about was doing whatever the fuck he wanted and not actually helping

DO you understand there has always been harass supports. Teemo support poking enemy champs is very very good. He get kills? Yeah. If you think support should not take kills, you are playing with season 2 rules. Season 3 removed the lack of scaling from healer supports. Harass supports never had that hindrance.

There is more than one warding item, not sure if ya know. Just putting it out there though.

As a support (bronze) I know sightstone is a good item. I myself usually always grab some type of vision. However in most cases I find myself being the only source of vision. At any point in time once Im able to place 3-4 wards down, there should actually be at least 5 wards down at all times. That might be a little light though considering I have 4 teammates who have 2 wards each. Each of those teammates also has enough money to buy a cheap 75g pink ward! ( with the new vision changes I believe the control wards will be 50g, no excuses) Do the math!

Team game so either all work together to help each other or we all fail together.

Also even though I don't find this to be a excuse for never getting a vision item as a support, I have to mention the lack of map awareness.

any role can buy a sightstone. and every other role has more gold than support. maybe you should try buying one from mid or whatever. its not the end of the world. you get hps and you get vision where you want it.

Last time I checked, any role can buy any item. Just because I can buy ancient coin when I'm playing Darius toplane, doesn't make it a good idea.

And the other roles need their gold to buy the items required to be relevant. Because they are the carries. You know, the main source of the team's damage output? The carries that the support is supposed to be.... what's that word.... oh yeah, SUPPORTING.

Supports are not carries?

Considering supports help nurse the the team's adc/marksmen to "carry" status and we are your utility and CC. Oh and vision! I'd say "Hop on my back, BB!"

Also next time you get upset at a support for not doing something, think why....

You got mad because you NEED THEM to provide CC, Utility, and Vision.

Nope. Not at all. Supports are incredibly important. They just have a different role. They are the point guards of league. They don't need to make baskets to have an impact, because they are making sure the other players on their team get their baskets. I personally really appreciate good support players.

Supports can obviously "carry" a game, as in they are the primary reason why a team wins (I've had many games where the support was obviously the best player on the team). Supports are not "carries", as in the primary source of damage and kills for a team. If you, as a support, are constantly trying to be a damage dealing carry, you are hurting your team more often than helping it.

There is only so much gold that can be earned in a game. Supports get a smaller share of the gold because their characters have kits that allow them to have a high impact with less items. That's why supports don't farm. That's also why supports are expected to buy a sightstone and other characters are not. The more gold that goes into the support, the less gold is going into the characters that need it to stay relevant in the game.

Aw shucks. Thank you. It's unneeded though. I play top now, but not so long ago I considered myself a dedicated support player (there's a reason why 3 of my top 4 champs are Braum Nautilus and TahmKench ). I respect my former support brethren and their dedication to their selfless and unforgiving work. Good luck to you as well.

Because they're below the acceptable threshold of intelligence, they're simply naturally stupid. That's it.

Another difference is bad supports, the one that place 12-25 wards per game when i place lik 50 wards per game, but that's another story.

Has nothing to do with silver or bronze. If you're good, you're good. If not you buy the wrong items.

Warding at current is a joke. Only see proper warding in higher ranks because it's essential. I don't blame inexperienced players for not doing it. They're probably doing it wrong anyway.

Information used improperly is useless. Damage is just easier and compensates for a terrible ADC early game. The only thing that increases the chances of winning in lower elos is removing the enemy wards, not making them. You can literally set up a drake for 6 minutes with vision and your team will not only fail but give the drake to the other team. People not only fail at using their champion abilities, but actually fail at their own champion's most BASIC CONCEPTS.

What I don't get, is why they don't buy sightstone after they have 5 complete items. like srsly.

there are a lot of support who buy sighstone and did'not know how to ward in proper time and place . 1/3 . And when you ask them politely to buy sighstone or use the wards 3/3 (max potential ) 70% not gonna do it. PS ; rekt English
