I'm Done Being Toxic

No Rioter is ever going to look at this. The community will probably gloss over this. But this is my announcement, I am done being a toxic player. I am going to be upfront AND honest, I have been brutally toxic to a lot of players I have come across in the last few weeks. And to be honest, I can list the main reason why. This community has filled itself with many different types of people. Many people feel the need to "flame" others when they mess up or they don't like the outcome of how something went. And when these people attack me for what I do, I have always felt a constant urge to fight back and defend myself. And to be honest with Riot or whoever, muting someone makes you look weak in the eyes of some players, half of Reddit would call me something very creative and vulgar. So in turn my mistake mainly, is never muting people when they themselves get toxic. For this I apologize.

I wish I could take back the negative things I have said to people throughout my four years of playing but I cant, and I recognize that. But I can make a promise to myself right now, I am done being toxic and rude to my fellow players. It isn't fair to them and it isn't fair to me. I want to better myself as a player and the best way to start is bettering my attitude towards players. League is complex and like many peoples attitudes, it varies. I am working on learning to accept when something goes wrong and my team wants to use me as the scapegoat. I am learning to accept when someone is having a bad day and they want to vent. I also need to learn to accept what a mute button is for and use it to my advantage. I don't really know why I posted this rant. I'm just one of the many millions of people struggling to find their way through League of Legends. But maybe people will read this and think to themselves that they don't need to be toxic anymore either. It isn't worth you getting aggravated trying to explain yourself to someone who is already upset, or someone who spams memes they find on Reddit, or someone who only responds with "same" or "10/10 would die again." I love League of Legends and from now on I will try my best to make my smallest of impacts to this community and be one of the MANY positive players around.

That's good, the funny thing is if Riot Lyte had his way with the world like he does this game.. it would be a horrible place. For example, if someone came up to your child-- told them they suck at life and will never amount to anything and to go jump off a bridge-- based on this report system Riot Lyte would have you sit there with your mouth closed and suck it up.

You all can be that guy who let's people run all over your children, but I won't.

You've got a lot of words here. Just make sure you have the actions to back them up.
