A SOLUTION FOR BOTS IN YOUR GAME

Dereq·7/10/2016, 3:13:32 AM·3 votes·1,050 views

So RITO deleted my post called BOTS INVADING TWISTED TREELINE and this was their reason.

_Hey Dereq,

We understand that hacks and exploits hurt the integrity of the game and we are actively looking and punishing these players. The Boards is not the correct place to bring visibility on these players and as such, your post has been removed. Please continue to use our in-game reporting system and send a Player Support ticket in._

So if this billion company cant do much to solve anything i GOT a solution:

**A BOT CHECK/IM HUMAN like when u are Logging into ur accounts or creating one. I think kids above 5 Yo can solve them. ** If this is not an option(im sure rito will say so) then we as players should do our own bot check talking in the champion select and dodging when someone on our team does not respond without a penalty.

RITO CANNOT OBLIGUE US NOT TO DODGE A BOT GAME!!!!

If u rito care about us u can implement this , and in the proccess get better servers the spike lags are terrible.

This really doesn't work. Any filtering mechanism other than manual review (which Riot simply does not have the manpower to do on a large enough scale) can be at least partially bypassed with little effort on the part of the botters. The only solution is to change the system enough to remove the incentive for creating bots, which in most cases are used to farm level 30 accounts for sale. Thus, what needs to happen is the removal of any reason to purchase a fresh account illegally.

Some possible/partial solutions (each with their own problems and side-effects) are:

  • Riot selling level 30 accounts themselves, massively undercutting botters' prices to make it unprofitable for them
  • Greatly reducing, or entirely eliminating, the amount of time it takes to level an account to 30
  • Allowing an account to "reset" and enter Ranked games with a clean slate
  • Linking IP rewards much more heavily to winning (bots tend to lose a lot, so farming IP would become much more difficult)

There are many other possibilities, but this is what I was able to come up with in a short time. Take it how you will.

if they stopped permabanning people and instead put them in a queue with other toxic losers there wouldnt be a NEED for people to buy botted accounts.

Your suggestion of captcha has been mentioned before and debated regarding why it doesn't work. Botters will simply answer it, then go afk after game starts. This feature hinders those who go afk for an entire day letting program handle everything, but ultimately doesn't stop those manually queue'ing before they let script take over.

Yea, I got the same message for a post I made earlier this evening also.

Played an ARAM game with a bot who's name was "Rito Cares A Lot". Even took a screen shot of it as it was so utterly hilarious and ironic.

Talk about irony. But apparently the boards aren't the right place to bring up the fact that that ARAM game had 3 live players in it (7 Bots) and my game last night the ENTIRE other team was bots...not a single human player in the game except for on our team...which had either 1 or 2 bots on it.

I'm assuming this is just too public a place to mention that either their game is losing so many players that bots have to be subbed in, or that their account controls are so ridiculously poor that they can't do anything about them.

Either way, you're not the only one having posts removed for pointing out a glaring problem with their game.
