So something frustrating has been happening lately..

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but personally I've noticed a lot of negative attitude in the game coming from people, and those people also blame you for trolling, being toxic, feeding, etc.. when in reality, you are just trying to play the game and enjoy yourself while trying to calm everyone else down at the same time. I get it, not everyone has good games 24/7, but that doesn't mean It's necessary to flame and report a person for not doing their best... this has been happening a lot and I believe it is because of the new leveling system to be quite honest, I have always been a pretty bronze player and I'm learning at my own pace and playing the game slow, yet being level 40 I've been getting matched with Silver and gold players, expecting silver and gold plays out of me, and It has been extremely infuriating. especially when I look down at chat and see "Report Synd" from my own team... Sorry for this rant but I really needed to let this anger out somewhere besides a game so I don't actually turn toxic... And Witch-hunting is pretty fucked up and all... and I wish I could call these 5 people out for what they have done... But I'm just going to move on and hope for friendlier people in my future games, whether they be on my team, or the enemy. A few words of wisdom, everyone is equal...so don't be fucking toxic, thanks. -Sincerely Arctic

I see toxic people in the majority of my games. It gets exponentially worse during the holiday season when I assume Leagues player base shifts from 20 somethings to 14 year olds. I know forums loves to echo the riot sentiment that "You only feel like you have toxic players in all of your games because your mind remembers the mean players more than the normal ones", which is why I actually performed an experiment this week. I played across three of my gold accounts (with a silver duo partner) and wrote down game number, how many players were toxic, their summoner names, and what they said exactly that was toxic. Out of the 38 games we played over this week I had 23 games where a player was toxic (flaming people for doing poorly, calling them idiots, and general chat restricted shit). I had 12 games where a player actually used hate speech at some point from pre-game to post-game. 7 of those were calling teammates retards, 3 advising self harm, and one using a homophobic slur.

It was for my own satisfaction originally but I actually just downloaded dxtory and am planning on replicating the experiment with video evidence to post on reddit. Will probably aim for something like 25-50 games.

I think you'd get better results if you changed your poll to "how often do you see trolls" and then list the number of games instead.
