I'm guessing that this belongs here... Maybe? I don't know, I'm not sure. But one thing I must say. If anyone here plays CS:GO, they are probably familiar with the cooldowns and how they work, in other words, the lowering of a penalty over time if a player hasn't been banned for a certain period. Over here... You'll just get put in low priority, and the sentence gets worse, nothing more. Riot PLEASE, we're suffering here. [zombie-nunu-tears]
Leaverbuster penalties do get lowered, however it's not over a set period of time. The Leaverbuster penalty will be lowered once you play enough games without leaving, disconnecting, or otherwise being marked as AFK. The number of games you need to do this for is a lot, especially if you have reached the higher penalties, but when it happens you will receive a notification.
You could always... you know, not AFK?
Leaverbuster punishments already go down if you play enough games without leaving.
