Separation Period After Reporting Players?

So I was in a promo series yesterday and in my first game my jungle intentionally fed. it didn't start out that way but once we got behind he started to really feed and trash talk our team. He said he'd make sure i lost my promo if we were on the same team again after i tried to encourage him to stop feeding. Basically one of the most toxic players I've come across. After the game i report the player and I'm assuming some other people in the game did as well because we were all kind of fed up with the behavior. So we lost the first game, no big deal, i have two more games to try and win. Champ select comes along and the same jungle is on my team again. Someone asks him to switch roles and he says "nah I'm trolololing so shen (me) loses his promos." So i queue dodge and forfeit my promo because i don't see the point in wasting at least 20 minutes for the same result. I think it'd be great if there was some sort of preventative method to keep players at least on separate teams after reports are done. I don't know all the complexities behind the matchmaking process but i think it'd be beneficial to have like a 2-3 game separation buffer after you've reported someone for toxic behavior.

I know what you mean. We saw this w/ DoToT and QT/IWD stream as well where the troll kept being matched up w/ them for numerous games in a row.

I think one way to avoid players such as those would be to take a break after the game you just played w/ them. Hopefully they will have queued up and moved on to another game. It isn't a perfect solution but I see most of my friends do this to avoid the same trolls.

I do like the suggestion that if a player had reported someone from their previous game as a toxic player or a troll or an intentional feeder, the next queue would prevent them being matched on the same team. Also, see if you can rank up w/ a couple of friends as that can cut down the chances of running into a troll.

GL w/ your promos!
