My account was hijacked and perma-banned

It has been over a year since i’ve lost this account… I’ve sent in multiple tickets just to get an automatic response.

My account was hijacked and perma-banned… Was listed as using 3rd party applications…

I want my account back… I’ve spent sleepless days on this account, I’ve spent money on this account to support riot… I feel like it’s unfair and i’m not finding any sort of remorse from the Rioters.

I know most of the responses to this thread are probably going to be people who think i'm being pathetic, or trolls just trying to add gas to a flame... i just really wish i could get some assistance... even though it seems far fetched.

I seen people with much worse cases get helped...

so, please... help me get back my account.

**Ticket Example : ** > YangDropsUrBase > Jan 30, 09:03 PST > Hello, > It's almost has been a year since i've lost my account. > I didn't think it was possible to get it back after it was taken from me by my ex; > I spent countless hours on this game, made many friends i can no longer get in contact > with because i can't access my account, i've spent money. > I honestly dropped any notion of ever getting my account back. > I sent a couple of tickets but after they went unanswered i grew wary of continuing trying. > I have never used a third party application to gain any advantages over anyone else, i never needed to. > I use to be bad, sure, i use to not be the best player and maybe even toxic at times, but scripting? Never. > My Ex was angry with me after we got into a fight, she nearly killed me irl, i was hospitalized for two months after. > She spent money herself on the game, and she thought it would hurt me getting me permabanned...and it did. > I know it's a long shot for any of this will be taken into consideration, but after an event that happen to my friend, > getting her account taken away--and being able to regain in it...gave me some hope. > I would never script, i knew the consequences of such. I've read the short of how strict riot is on scripters, and i also know > that the stance taken is that, it was my account and my responsibility. However, I shared a home with someone i loved a lot, > i trusted her, and never would imagine she would ever have malice intentions towards me.She blamed the game on my absent mindedness, on my lack of response speed when she was away. > v_v i just gave up on trying to retrieve this account because after reading the rules repeatedly i didn't think there was any silver lining to > this situation. > My friend lost her account due to her upset jerk of an ex, she couldn't even access the email he changed it to. > He was set on getting her permabanned and we stopped him... but i'm also afraid its too late in my case... > i spent 300$ and basically blew it on nothing.... and i just... wanted to try ... > Thank you for your time, > Rad

**Ticket Example 2 **

> I understand there may be overwhelming amount of evidence that you found on that account of whatever program that may have been used. > > I know that account sharing is against ToS but when you live in the same household with someone, use the same password for everything, it isn't exactly easy to keep things unaccessible. > > I personally haven't used any third party applications on the account, nor would i ever. I can prove that i haven't used anything of the sort. > > If i wasn't in the hospital i could of prevented whatever she did, but since i couldn't i guess i'm going to be punished for that as well? > > I just helped someone get their account back from a hacker, it was as easy as someone knowing the username of someone's account that the could access the entire thing, change the email and deny the actual owner of the account access to it. > > She got her account back, riot help her, and as i see some discrepancies and can understand the fact it was my responsibility to stop someone from getting me perma banned, but honestly... there's no way to receive my account back? Even if you look at my other games played before my account was taken? even if you look at the games i play now? Like... when people give Riot their money for things like skins and what not, spend time on the account, have friends start playing the game, you'd think there would be some sort of remorse for people who hadn't actually did anything wrong and had a bad hand drawn because someone had malice intentions towards them? > > I knew this was a long shot, but my friend told me to try to see if i could speak to someone, to see if i could recover my account... but it doesn't seem like that's in the realm of possibilities is it?

I know that account sharing is against ToS but when you live in the same household with someone, use the same password for everything, it isn't exactly easy to keep things unaccessible. so you scum bag ex got you banned sorry But account security is the users domain Riot ensures your account isn't hacked on their end its up to you to keep friends/family off it on your end If email was compromised I'd suggest changing all your passwords. Again, I've never heard of riot unbanning for 3rd party bans or for account sharing bans as you know people lie, and lie about everything So its hard to verify or deny your story But I'll assume its true, sorry it happened and best of luck getting a response best option is to move on make a new account alll you've really lost is the accounts value(which is 0 since you can't sell it anyway) but yeah best of luck

You need to stop burying the lead in your support tickets and get them to take you seriously.

Example:

"Hi. I was physically assaulted and nearly killed by my ex. While I was in the hospital, she took my account and got it banned. I'd like my account back. Please find the relevant hospital records showing my time in recovery while illegal actions were taken on my account attached to this ticket. Thank you for your help and understanding."

The first time I read your original post, I skimmed it and didn't think much of it. People come up with excuses to explain away their misbehavior all the time, and I chalked you up to somebody like that. It was only when I looked back and actually dived in a bit that I realized you had a legitimate unique circumstance that, assuming your story is true, completely explains your innocence. You just need to place that story front and center when asking for help.

Hey, the same thing is happening to me right now! In my case there was no ex and I have no idea who the hacker was, nor how they got hold of my account details. I've been trading tickets back and forth with riot support for about a month, and getting the same automated answers back. I'm desperately trying to get one of them to just read a message that I've sent that explains the situation! Let me know if you have any success with your situation - I'm wishing you the best of luck.

Damn, that's really unfortunate. One thing that really hurts your case, is you're trying to justify breaking the Tos. Just because you love someone, doesn't mean you have to share your account.

Didn't you two ever talk about that? Like, hey maybe we should have seperate accounts, cuz we could get this account banned at some point for sharing it. It'd just be easier to have our own accounts.

Yip im having the same trouble with my account, i only just committed to my account and thought "Hey!, im going to start paying money towards this account now!", but a few hours after i did that, it was banned, and it feels like shyt., your case seems really extreme though, and still they have no sympathy!?, i think riot is not doing a great job of over seeing the customers, which we are as we have paid towards the games services or content, and they dont seem to be taking us seriously, you case is really sad man, i feel for you, your poor puppy, whom had nothing to do with her anger, other than that she wanted to hurt you, that was a really crazy life event man, that woman needs some serious help.

Problem is, they matched the IP to your account. So I mean, anyone can say "well someone else living with me did it!"

Sorry man :/
