Second of all, it's not common sense, it's your perception. Every single one of my IRL friends, despite not even being gamers are deeply confused with Riot's punshment system. No exceptions.

True, Riot is occasionally a bit unclear themselves, but lo and behold they had me to explain the rest to them. Since you're regularly on these boards, you might do your friends a favor and tell them what's up.
And what's wrong about being offended by somebody using slurs? Slurs are meant to offend. If player A is going out of their way to insult and offend player B, it's irrational to blame player B for feeling insulted and offended.
SonicAF1 votesI explained it how it works. They are confused how can a word ban you from the game, no matter how offensive. Especially something like "f****t", which is something people would throw around on a daily basis(we have a literal, for all intents and purposes, analogue for this word). It feels like permabanning people out of...anywhere for something like "idiot", "bitch" or "bastard". When I explain the logic that it's derogatory to gay people, who might get offended that their sexual orientation is used as an insult, they laugh at me.
There is nothing wrong with being offended. Especially when it hits some of your personal spots, whatever they are. You know, with all cultures presented in the playerbase, someone might get offended by something - Kai'Sa's cleavage, getting exploited by gambling, Graves' cigar. Someone might get offended when you talk in a language not commonly accepted on the server. Someone might get offended when he gets sitted and someone throws "report top" at him. Someone might get offended by insults, or "slurs"(fun fact - we don't have a proper translation for the word).
The issue is not someone getting offended with something, it's understandable. The wrong part is getting so offended by someone so alien and disconnected from you, that it's easier to imagine a character for your book out of nowhere, than imagining the person in question, that you can honestly say "gosh, this guy is so bad, he has to be isolated from us".
That truth is, people are more likely to report out of spite("he didn't give me blue, but I can hurt him through report") or out of principle("I am not offended at all, but these words are unacceptable in-game"). You can see it as judtice, I see it as the most broken and abused pinishment system in the world.

No, it doesn't presume being gay is negative. However, you literally just used it in a negative context and THE BOTS READ CONTEXT, SHOCKING I KNOW.
That's like saying the robot thinks that being black is negative because it flags the N slur, or it thinks being mentally handicapped is negative because it flags the R slur. You shouldn't be using that language regardless and I honestly can't imagine ANY situation in which you'd need to unless you're trying to insult someone.
Plus, you used the F slur multiple times again in negative context. The bot doesn't flag you if you say "that's stupid" or "I feel dumb". But if it can see you're calling your team stupid/dumb/whatever else using context clues, you get banned because that is toxic.
It's hard, I know :( But broaden your vocabulary so that you can talk to people without using slurs that might not offend your friends, but will offend someone - especially something like the F slur lmfao. If you were in a premade though sounds like someone was offended. If I saw that I'd report you too, premade or not, and make a mental note to never play with you again and remove you from my friends list.
