Today I learned I had Bard in my champ pool for what ever reason, I probably just bought the potato sack and forgot about him. I was just in a norms mid queue and saw one of my own team mates ban him on purpose. Now I'm kinda confused on how far people's hatred for bard can really go...

Jo0o1 votesI'm a Bard main, but I don't think he belongs mid. I'm not a fan of banning my temmate's picks personally, but it makes sens to me that somebody would do so.
I know some high-level streamers occasionally wreck with him in solo lanes, but his passive loses a ton of luster if you're forced to farm with him, his heal won't do anything against many real mid lane champs, and he's really hard to get a solo kill with. I like the idea of being able to portal gank in either direction, but overall, meh.
bwop1 votesOkay, I was trying to play him support, the role he is supposed to be played in. I finally got to play him in ONE game and did fairly decent with a KDA of 2/3/13 with over 50 Chimes!!! I realized he does some serious damage with just a Watchers and a Lich Bane though.
Jo0o1 votesOh, he's a great support at the moment. No good reason for your teammate to ban him. Auto+Q+Electrocute is hilariously strong in the early game, and portal ganks are hella fun.
