Seriously this shit needs to be fixed. i can get chat restricted for talking shit to someone who starts shit with me but when my entire team talks shit not one of them gets penalized? this is why leagues community is so shitty, theres NOTHING done about it. not even 10 minutes into a game tonight i just left. had to mute my entire team for freaking out at me in chat so they all just started spamming pings. not dealing with it lol

No you won't, except for the very rare cases where your report was the last one that triggered the punishment, or where your report was the last one that triggered the manual investigation followed by a punishment (usually a permanent ban in that case) and a punishment was issued.
Or to make it simpler, if your report was the final nail in the coffin.
Then, and ONLY then, do you get the notification, which is why they are quite rare. You can make dozens of reports the system counts as valid, and which contribute to punishments in the end, without ever receiving a notification.

That's because of posts like this one. Assumptions made about the system, by people who don't have the necessary information to make a statement, and just go by their gut-feeling, wishful thinking or emotions.
Nonsense is written, and then confirmed and upvoted by similarly uninformed people, or toxics who want to vent their rage about the system by spreading misinformation about it.

By telling you when your assumptions are wrong, and telling you how the system really works. Just by reading my post, you now better understand why you not get a notification after every report. I increased your knowledge, and dispelled misinformation. In short, I helped you.

The system automatically banned me because of the high volume # of reports. I posted pictures and the chat log into the forum and riot took it down. They told me to go and report the guy but i can't. I'm banned and he got away scot-free. i didn't even flame the guy.
