I recently got a chat ban for 10 games. I've already played 6 and have 4 left. I fully admit my toxic behavior and accept my punishments (ready to reform), however I am confused. Once the season comes back (season 8), will I be eligible for the rewards after the season ends?
The end of season rewards will likely mirror what they have been in the past: avoid punishments in the final 3 months of the season, and you should be good!
you're good.they don't hold preseason punishments against people for season rewards and i doubt thats going to change
Honor rank is now what determines end of season reward eligibility. You need to have a Honor rank of 3 or higher at the time they are distributed to receive end of season rewards.
Receiving a punishment reduces your Honor rank to level 0 and prevents you from regaining it for some time afterwards. Additionally, negative behavior that doesn't fully qualify for a formal punishment will still affect your Honor gains: you will recover faster if you do not display any negative behavior, and need to have a pristine record to ever achieve Honor rank 5.
