That you used hate speech is plenty enough grounds for a ban. It doesn't matter if you're trying to reclaim the word or not - Riot makes it abundantly clear in the ToU that it's not welcome in League.

Okay lets break this down incase you are being serious... "shaco ur gay"-homophobic "im gay its my word i use it" - we don't know that for sure i mean you could just be saying that to get away with it soo...still falls under homophobic. "straight bitch boy" -heterophobic. So lets say you are for sure 100000% gay. You still were heterophobic. So either way it doesn't look good. Text book hate speech pure and simple.

You have no reason to say the word in game, it doesn't achieve anything, also it happens to be quite offensive. It must be hard to look up the list of words you are not allowed to say in game according to riot.

While I can appreciate the mentality, that isn't how the rules are set

The biggest problem with allowing that language is that it is all or nothing. You cannot say "this group can say this, but that group can't". Additionally, they're is no reasonably viable way for Riot to verify what someone claims. They took the easy route, and I can't blame them.

All that aside, I never once, from my uncle or any of my friends who are gay, have heard them describe themselves in that manner. If you want to use the word outside the game, then so be it. In the game, just don't.
