after a game where i admit i was very bad and ended up feeding the top laner and losing us the game i get this........ him: mental ass ni double g er me: ty him: hope you die from cancer me: for calling me a ni double g er him: you fucking piece of shit

now..... in real life this person would no longer have teeth for speaking to me this way.... but because of the messed up system of riot banning people for RESPONDING to a situation like this....... (which btw anything u say to them after they speak this way to you is totally acceptable)........ u cant say anything to them or do anything..... i think this is wrong and riot needs to fix their banning system.

Just like you could have been charged with assault, if you punched his teeth out in real life, you get banned for retaliating verbally. Nice analogy, but it's working against you.

its not about anger management its about standing up for yourself...... thats a normal reaction to someone speaking to you that way....... im sorry if your some young liberal and believe in whatever but when i grew up and how i was raised is that people dont disrespect u like that and u let them get away with it......... if i wouldve let someone speak to me that way when i was a kid and my dad found out i didnt do anything about it.. he wouldve kicked my ass for not standing up for myself.....

I know a number of people have commented on this, but there is a huge different between retaliation and defending yourself. Nowhere in the TOS does it state you can't defend yourself, but what you are expressing is retaliation. Especially when you threaten people like in your analogy guess who would end up in jail?

All in all the best way to get back at someone especially if they are breaking the rules is to mute them to stop them from chatting and being toxic in that game, and then reporting them so that they don't continue to do this in other games.

It's that simple.

U mentioned in real life person wouldnt have teeth anymore, meaning u would make something called "Aggravated assault. Now according to law penalty for that can go up to 15 years in prison. And jury doesnt accept "he called me bad names" defense. So its no different from here. Here you can retaliate too, and like in real life, u will be punished for it.
