Macro Spamming is getting out of hand....

We've all seen it. Whether it was an enemy or a friendly... Someone just will NOT stop spamming a taunt/lol/whatever macro. And if you complain, everyone just tells you to turn of those sound effects.... so MY game has to suffer because Riot refuses to fix how easy it is to spam macros in this game? Am I the only one who sees this?
