We need stronger punishment for leavers!!

For the first time in 6 years of playing this game i decided i wanted to play a lot of ranked and get to at least gold. Started at bronze 3 and now am almost silver 1, everything is going fine until the sudden wave of people leaving the game. I lost 5 ranked games in a row due to leavers. Either the person doesn't show up for the first 15 minutes of the match or we are winning and suddenly someone from the team just decides hey now is a good time to go afk and we lose to people that don't deserve the win. It's not just one person that goes afk, 2 of those games 2 people weren't in the game for the first 15 minutes. I keep losing games due to something that's out of my control and i am giving up on playing ranked just because everyone is either a salt master or thinks its okay to leave a game where it actually matters if you win or lose. I' tired of wasting 30+ minutes on a loss, its not worth it. At this rate I'm thinking of going back to Heroes simply because games don't go over 20 minutes and the ranking system makes sense where i'm judged on my performance rather than losing all my points because of people going afk. If i lose in Heroes at least it will only take 10-15 minutes of my life, not an hour.

People that go afk need more than just a warning, it should be instant ban for a week. Cause the whole you can leave a game 7 times and not get a punishment is stupid. It should be a week of ban and you should lose double the lp. Make it seem like they will get punished for wasting an hour, not that they will get off scotch free. I'm tired of being punished for something that is out of my control. I went from 70 lp to 7. I don't think i really want to deal with more afk asshats to get to gold at this point.
