I recently played a normal game with a friend of mine were we went double jungle, just for the sake of fun. We did our best throughout the game to help every other lane and said little to nothing towards other players during the period.

And as the game came to a rather bitter conclusion one of the players on our team continually came at me, telling me to commit suicide. I understand that many people not enjoy us double jungling, but like I said we did our best to help everyone and did very well in the early game. However, telling someone to commit suicide because you do not like what they are doing is completely uncalled for and morbid.

I responded to this player in a respectful manor, trying to get him to understand the intensity of the situation he was creating, however he continued with his behavior to the point were a muted him in game. I used no vulgarity towards this player or in the game at all.

I sincerely understand that double jungling is not "how you're supposed" to play, but it doesn't give anyone the right to inflict such hateful ideas on another individual. I would really like to see this player punished, because from what I understand this type of behavior is completely unacceptable both in the League Community, and in daily life.

While i do agree no one should have this happen to them just for breaking the meta, from how i am reading it, it just seems like a lack of communication. When you said "We did our best throughout the game to help every other lane and said little to nothing towards other players during the period." This implies to me that you probably didnt discuss your situation to your fellow teammates during Champ select. If this is wrong i apologizes! But it is Normals and people should be more open to non-meta picks. But its just how the genre of the game is. People take this game serious. Doesnt matter if its Normals, Rank, Vs AI, or even Urf. People have that mentality that they need to play at their best 100% of the time, they need to follow the Meta 100% of the time. Breaking the norm to them is someone who is trolling, or trying to sabotage their chances of winning, but its funny. Because those same types of people who diminish people who try to break the meta or try something new will praise Pro-players for doing the same exact thing!

All you can do is just report them, players like that eventually reform or get banned. One thing to keep in mind is that whatever strategy you're practicing, that may disrupt the strategy that one of your teammates is trying to practice.

i get this a lot. i play bot games (yeah yeah, i'm sick of the pvp) and if somebody else calls jungle i have no problem with it, but i prefer to take a support with smite. it's surprising how often people spaz out about it, even the people that aren't jungling, but i'm sure most of the times it's because the people are duo cued and they think they can get away with being abusive.
