Honor Penalization Is A Little Too Harsh

So I recently had a bad game where I tilted really hard and got reported. I got a nine-game chat ban which seems fair and I understand. I also knew that my honor level would drop because of this. I understand that this also had to be done and have no argument with losing honor. However, I do have an issue with the amount of honor lost. I was previously honored at level four. After the chat restriction, my honor was locked for the chat ban, this makes sense, and reduced to 1. I believe that this penalty is a little too harsh. I propose a new system for simple chat restrictions for first-time offenders. Chat restriction stays the same and also locks honor progress for however long it lasts, as well as the honor level, is reduced by 1. This would allow players who just had a bad game to reform and rise back up to the level they were previously at by maintained good behavior. I was also informed by the rioter who worked on my support ticket that honor progress is not increased after level 2 and that my hope of hitting honor level 5 is most likely futile. Attached are the chats with the rioter I worked with. Please keep do not attack or attempt to harass this rioter, he was kind and very helpful and one of the best I worked with. https://imgur.com/a/TgWJauq

I do agree dropping honor to 1 off of the first 10 CR is quite harsh. I think dropping you to honor 2 and locked for a bit for the first tier of punishment would be more fitting. Then 25 CR get dropped to honor 1 and 14-day regardless of how you get there (be it straight ZT or from 25 CR) would drop you to honor 0.

If I were you, I'd be more concern getting to honor 2 for the end of season rewards rather than honor 5 for the honor rewards...

I love it when Skeletor says its his job to say this stuff all day. Otherwise, kudos on being respectful to him.

I get your point but this is also why most players who get punished once don't get punished again. Punishment is suppose to suck and teach you a lesson. I've insulted plenty of people in my games over the course of the past 8 years. It takes more than just the casual insult to get the restriction -- you have to show a pattern of poor behavior.
