I've been banned for being toxic and I learned my lesson but these people who intentionally run it down and are toxic in chat; and only goal is to tilt the team is at an all time high. I was platinum last season and I got placed b3 this season even though I won 7 out of 10 of my Provisionals. The climb is so frustrutaing because people don't have teamwork but instead flame the summoner 31 out of each other. Maybe we need to come together as a gaming community instead of putting each other down. Some people will say I'm saying this bc I main support but I think this would be great.

I totally agree. Just recently I played a game where I had a bad start. I didn't say a thing to anyone all game but I was trying my best to do what I think needed to be done. We had a Draven AD carry and he decided to it was a good idea get on my case and tell me how bad I was. So I threw the game. I made sure that our team lost the game despite it being very winnable. It was a dick thing to do but at that time I just didn't care.

Point is, people respond negatively to negative attitudes. If that Draven had been a little less of a %%%%, I'm sure I would have carried that game. I don't care what anyone says, words are a very powerful thing, powerful enough to decide the outcome of a match.

mute all is perfect for anything below diamond because almost nothing they have to say is good or constructive

It's because playing with people who are so horrifically bad is just excruciatingly frustrating. It's maddening to watch an adc be incapable of cs. It's mindblowing to watch the mid go 0/15 by minute 10. It's disheartening to be 9/1/4 and lose because the other four people on your team went a collective 2/37/12... that's right... they got 2 kills off of me... and all their assists were off me... and I constantly helped each lane... constantly did everything I could.

Why wouldn't people vent their frustrations at each other? Be it in positive or negative ways. It would be socially impossible for someone not to respond. It's like you're in a 5 man class. You do A+ work; the rest of the class or one person gets a D- or F. And you're forced to accept their grade because it's a "team class". No one who worked for the A+ or even thought they did would be understanding of that scenario... no one. Zen Taoist Monks with 18 years of silence under their belt would rage over that shit.
