Banned Players Creating Alternate Accounts to Avoid Ban

I was playing a game with someone, and after the game she told me she was playing on an alternate account to avoid her ban. This person said she was banned for being toxic. If someone who is toxic is still allowed to play how does that show any disciplinary actions effective. If toxic people realize they can continue playing even if their account is banned, why would they ever stop being toxic? If this person is not banned on this account as well I think it proves Riot's actions of discipline are useless and does not stop toxicity in the long run. <removed by moderation>

Yeah, and? This is old news lol. I have 14 accounts permabanned including this one, doesnt mean im just gonna stop playing the game because some sensitive kids get mad when i say theyre useless and need to ward/gank better.

And honestly I wasnt that toxic before. But once my first account got perma banned, I didnt give a fuck after that and just became even more toxic. My first account didnt get banned for about 7 months, then after that my accounts been getting perma banned for toxicity about every 2 weeks.

Because when people do stupid stuff in this game, it gets annoying. Doing it the first time, whatever, but do it over and over again means I will say something. If youre building wrong on a champ I know very well, I will say something. If you die by overextending over and over, I will say something. If you dont ward, then die to a gank and whine that your jungler never ganks and youre getting camped, I will say something. You get the idea. And almost every time I say, "stop overextending", "Build... not...", "Ward and you wont get ganked", they will almost always have some sassy remarks at you. Surprisingly enough almost everyone in low elo actually listen to you and dont talk back. But once you get to plat, everyone thinks theyre challenger and know everything. And they will be toxic to you, calling you bad, shit, no life, to KYS, etc. Thus youre toxic back and say a simple, "Youre bad at this game, you dont know what youre building, youve been holding onto 2 wards all game. Youre shit go back to low elo." And boom you get banned. Hope that sums up that.

Not bashing you just trying to understand why players waste their time getting banned. The people you hate so much are winning if ur down 14 accounts

They technically arent winning. I can easily refund everything I spent on my account via PayPal, can refund my account from Unrankedsmurfs.com and just buy a new one via PayPal. Yes my account gets banned, but at least I get to have fun smurfing in low elo, but in about 4 days my account will already be higher than those who got it banned in the first place by reporting.

alright man, make's sense. I guess i'd rather not waste time with all this refund BS, ill just accept players are bad, thankfully for me I'm in low master/Diamond 1 so I don't deal with the same non-sense as I did in lower elo. I'm not perfect I definatly reformed. my old main got banned so I don't mess around anymore cuz I worked really hard to grind this account back to diamond 1 :) II wish for the best sir, thanks for being so candid. last time I asked I got flamed, and the dude got banned from the fourm. somehow have honor 5 on this one and honor 4 on my plat smurf, and like I swear I still passive aggressive sometimes lol

Whether you like what Jayce top has to say or not he is very correct on what is happening all over and even more sore as of late Riot has just gone psychotic over banning anything and everything.

You can just make a new account and why would anyone care anymore if you take away a heavly invested account of maybe skins and champs? If Riot took away their account name and rank but the nonsense part is taking skins and champs paid for away since you can just make a new account. Sure Riot can do that but you're only going to continue to find more "zero fucks" accounts.

Players who are now full blown toxic now and dont care about any of their accounts. You didnt get rid of the toxic player you just made a more toxic player and one who now hates Riot Games

i have 10 accounts now. in the new season, i plan on having at least 50 accounts at any given time. the pool will be replenished should any of them get banned. see you in the new season!

Nothing better than plat 2 players saying that you suck at the game for being gold 1 playing in their league because you lost lane early game. Even tho you have a 90% wr and proceed to carry late game :)

Yep I recently got permabanned like a day after getting unbanned for 2 weeks, once you are marked as "toxic" by the system you are hunted down like an animal and any little thing is grounds for escalation up the punishment chain until you are banned, then the community treats you like trash and an inferior human being to the point where you either quit or start a new account with nothing to lose and really let the toxicity take control.

being banned only has a repercussion if you spent $ on the account otherwise its just time, and honestly your skill doesn't change between accounts so rank progress is not a huge loss

perhaps going beyond IP bans and actually applying unique identifiers for each game client would help.
