Player adding me after game and this is what happens

So I did have a bad game as Corki, but to add me afterwards and flame like that? That's a little overkill. So hereby I post this gyazo. Should i report this personally to riot?

Don't accept invites. Since you accepted the invite Riot won't do anything. However, do note that you seem more intelligent than the guy on the other end of the screen. He's probably got serious mental issues and is lashing out at you because he can't find anything positive in his life to calm him down.

No, they won't. Accepting a friend request is inviting toxicity knowingly. In-game toxicity is handled differently because you're forced to play with that person.

According to the Red post the main reason they wouldn't take action in that case is because the OP is the one to send the friend request to the other player and talk about the game. I can understand that stance.

However, if the OTHER person adds you and then immediately starts flaming, I don't think they should be able to get off scot free. Especially if have comments like the ones seen above.

That's about as unambiguous as you're ever going to get. I have no idea how who sent the request makes any difference, as it still requires a opt-in decision by accepting that request.

I really don't have to. If someone got banned over it, then we'd have ban stories on the boards to back it up, especially since the now banned players would be crying about freedom of speech or something. Imagine, if you will, that Riot does ban people that do this. Where are these people? Do they just accept their ban and move on? Not likely, given their behavior to pursue and harass outside of a game.

You opted into that chat, going out of your way to add the person, because you wanted to be involved in the drama.

This is one of the cases that Anti-Teemo was referencing. In this case, a person friend requested a rager to collect evidence for an additional report after a game.

In another case, a rager (all game long) friend requested someone after the game to continue berating them. I can't find the link, but the official response was, 'You opted in to that exchange knowing that he was unpleasant to interact with. What were you expecting?'

This sounds like the second case to me, if he flamed at all during the game.

I'm certain that Riot does have the capability and willingness to punish chat between 'friends', since it occurs on Riot's systems. I believe that they would take action if you had a friend for months who then suddenly discovered your ethnic identity and repeatedly insulted you through the chat. But, if you're searching out unpleasant interactions, that's pretty much your own fault.

While accepting a request is different than actually requesting, I still think common sense logic applies here, and I'm actually not sure Riot does have the resources to address this individually. That's why they opted for automated review in the first place.

If you reported the player after the game, then that should be good enough. If this behavior was wildly different from what you experienced in game, you should definitely submit a support ticket.

Well, I would in the instance I had described. It's probably rare for punishments to occur for the reason you put forward.
