Banning a teammates champion choice is not why that feature is there

After having this happen several times recently - enough already.

You really don't get to choose what champion your teammate wants to play. This game forces us into roles. Don't be rotten and force people into champions they didn't want as well. Because I am sure you will follow that up in game with comments about how bad they are doing if it isn't their best champion.

I can't really think of a reason to do this other than to force a dodge. Either they do dodge, or they don't and your game is ruined.

In your experience has this ever turned out positive? Has it ever lead to a win? It hasn't in my experience. Teamwork requires a good vibe. Doing this just ruins it at the gate.

The purpose of the ban feature is to remove a champion from the game, whether your enemies or your teammates pick

To defend people that ban a teammates pick (Only very situational):

I ban Zed every game and I will continue to do so, no matter if my teammate hovers Zed or not. EXCEPT if the teammate hovering zed has first pick. If that's not the case, I will definitely ban Zed.

Once upon a time, the team "Captain" (person in the first pick slot) got to choose ALL the bans. Now, everyone gets one ban.

I dont know why this is down voted, Is it that hard to not be an ass and ban your teammates champ? How would you feel if every game in ranked I ban your best champ when youre hovering on it?

I never hover the champ pre-bans. Even if it means they end up banning my champ, you just avoid a big headache team chemistry-wise.

You are right. However, you can decide what they do not play.
