Clearing up a misundertanding resulting in a ban

So i was banned for 14 days on league. Just want to clear this up, i said kys NOT to flame it was aj oke to my friend who was in the game in discord. I was muted so i typed, and i believe my team thought i was directing it towards them. The friends in this game were The morgana(Suga Zel) and Ironjeel(Jinx) can look at my friends list and previously played games and you will find them in some of them. If someone would please look into this for me to take away the ban i would appreciate it, if not I understand but what i said was in no way meant toxicly to the random teammates with me but instead to a friend in a joking manner in which he laughed as a response. This was the only game i was banned for and have never previously been banned. Thank you. :)

This is going to sound harsh, but no one's buying it. We get tons of people trying the "I meant it as a joke" argument. Ultimately, we're not able to tell who is being genuine and who is not (nor is Riot, for that matter), so our default position is don't say it, EVER.

Then why not use discord to use zero tolerance phrases?

I believe the misunderstanding lies with YOU and not Riot. There is absolutely NO REASON to make jokes about suicide IN ANY FORM whatsoever. Riot believes the same. Next time, keep your jokes to yourself as it's not exactly funny.
