Leaverbuster

Just got a 20min leaverbuster, after I disconnection ~5min into the game. I kept trying to get back in, and managed too. I apoligized to my teammates, and continued to play and finish the game without a full disconnection again.

Note:This was a Co-op vs AI, intermediate game. I am playing bots b/c my internet is not being nice to me. high/unplayable ping, and random dc's.

Note2: early games, which were all co-op, I had dc'ed from too, which is why i am playing co-op, as mentioned above.

I am wonder if there is any possible action that can be taken to reduce/remove the leaverbuster from my account.

Leaver Buster penalties start at 5 minutes. If you have a 20 minute penalty now that means you keep leaving. Stop it. That's the action to take that will reduce/remove the penalty.

i think it mainly has to do with Leavebuster probably being synced with all game modes. So while it is silly that you'd get hit by it in a Vs AI match. i dont think there is anything you can do. I would suggest though if your internet isnt being reliable its best to not play till its starts to act normal again.

20 minutes is enough time to do something else like go eat, & even play another game. It's not the end of the world if you have a 20 minute ban. also, when you play in any game mode that includes another player, then you can receive bans. When you want to check your connection, go into a bots only match, & then you should be able to safely leave.
