Some context, when I started giving up was when we ACTUALLY HAD NO CHANCE OF WINNING, we had an autofilled adc, kindered who got drags, but did not help PUSH after ganks. Top who lost lane and mid who lost lane with an inhib down at 20 minutes. Like, I kept trying, but at some point it got to the point where it was just IMPOSSIBLE to win and no our team refused to surrender and that's when I went to baron ONCE and "report alistar please". 10- game chat restrict for not even FLAMING ANY OF my teammates, but i was tempted. People in this game literally told me to kill my self. that i have down syndrome, you name it but when I report, the system lets them without even a 5 game chat restrict. I want to ff on a clearly 1 sided game and "omg report alistar"

tldr: team won't ff despite virtually 0 chance of a comeback, they report me because I'm stating the obvious outcome and trying to surrender to the point that even the some of the ENEMY team members said we had no chance. LEAGUE OF CENCORSHIP

This, already, is bad behavior. Such aggressive defeatism and veiled insults are not welcome in League...But let's not stop there.

All of this is beyond unnecessary. The chat restriction is fully merited, and you would do well to learn to avoid being so petty and forcing others to deal with your negativity in the future.

please point me to the "flame" and I'll accept it, The one about about the dragons wasn't even an insult, more like a poking fun at the fact that no one pushes. I didn't say something like "wtf why get mountains if you're not going to push useless jungler".

Also did you read my context? WE HAD NO CHANCE OF WINNING.

More context: with 3 inhibs down and no late game. Garen was also autofilled but I didn't say anything to him, and our lux lost lane 1v1 to the enemy , even a few of the ENEMY team members said we had no chance.

It just frustrating that people can say go die, name call, actually be toxic to others, but as long as the winning team thinks it's funny no one will report. My 1 report won't do jack, but when I point out the obvious, it's viewed as "negativity". That sure is welcomed in league though huh? Why stop there? Subtle trolling is also welcomed, afk's are welcomed with open arms after almost winning, but 1 teammate dcd's last 5 minutes and you lose and the system doesn't view it as afk, that's welcomed. Pointing out to trolls that they're clearly feeding and inting is not welcomed, AHMAHGAWD TOXIC REPORT HE JUST HAD A BAD GAME. Flaming a troll, CALL THE POLICE. Pointing out that the team won't win with 2 autofilled players? not welcomed. You get the point.

Geez I wish I had the whole chat of both my team AND the enemy team to show you what I mean.

Maybe i shoulda gave false hope? Make my team believe we can win? what would be the point in that?

Did I read it? Yes. Does it matter? No.

It doesn't matter if you couldn't win that match. The rules apply to both the winning and losing sides. Just because you're losing doesn't mean you get to whine, pout, complain, and bicker with your teammates about how badly you just want to stop playing. Keep that shit out of League.

Again, it doesn't matter the circumstances that caused you to flame or throw a fit. What matters is that you did flame and throw a fit.

Why you broke the rules doesn't matter, what matters is that you broke the rules.

It doesn't matter if the enemy does or doesn't report. A single report is all that's needed for the IFS to review and potentially punish a player. If your reports aren't doing jack, there are a number of possibilities:

They are doing something, which you just can't see. A tree falling in the forest does make a sound even if no one's around to hear it, y'know.
Your reports aren't doing anything immediately, as in, they may be validated, but not enough to result in a punishment. Again, this is something you won't see.
Your reports are invalid, and are consequently not doing anything. This is, as the others, not something you'll see.

You weren't just "pointing out the obvious", you were going on a defeatist tirade, arguing with your teammates, disrupting the game, and accusing people of trolling for not following your instructions. If that's not negativity, I don't know what is.

The only point I'm getting right now is that you want to throw a melodramatic fit instead of learn how to correct your behavior and avoid future punishment...

Other players breaking the rules does not magically give you the freedom to break the rules yourself. Their misbehavior won't magically invalidate your punishment, and it sure as shit wouldn't sway me on your punishment being valid.

Especially considering how much you're blowing a chat restriction, the lightest punishment tier, out of proportion.

You do also have the option of not saying anything, y'know.

If there's no point in encouraging your team, you can just stay quiet and not ruin the game for people - and more importantly, not run the risk of getting punished. "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all", so the saying goes.

doesn't matter.

it's negative attitude. if you want to ff, use the /ff function, don't complain about it in chat. it ruins the game for the players who just want to play the game.

When you queue up for a game you agree to play the game out. You don't get to decide, against the wishes of the rest of your team, that the game is unwinnable and try to force them to surrender. You're obligated to try your best to win until your nexus explodes or your team all decides to surrender. If you can't accept that then don't play.

Advising the enemy team on what to do and saying you'll help is griefing, so you're lucky to just get a chat restrict really.

Candigger: its a relative low standard to get chat restricted, yes it sucks that someone telling you to die is equal to you saying this sucks, please surrender but that is the reality of things. Remove the defeatism and couch everything as positive rather than negative and you should be alright.
