Has anyone ever had a ban or restriction overturned by a ticket?

Not sure if there is an automatic system which involves a punishment based off of reports, or if they manually look at logs before deeming that what you said is worthy of a chat restriction.

Apparently I got a chat restriction, and it's giving me examples of what exactly I said. After re-reading it, it was honestly not bad at all. While being passive aggressive, I never really attacked anyone personally aside from using the word "dumbfuck" once.

I was queued up in a normal against someone in bronze and I kept saying his ACTUAL rank and apparently that is an insult worthy of being banned? If he was platinum and I kept call him a platinum kid would that be considered an insult?

In the other game, I actually got trolled, thats why I called him a dumbfuck. I honestly feel like dunkey. Get trolled.. call someone a dumbass and get punished.

Shaming somebody for being Bronze can be harassment if you do it consistently enough. Doesn't really matter that it's his "actual rank".

Ultimately, you're supposed to use chat for strategy. Expressing appreciation or congratulations is also fine, as is some small talk. But squabbling in chat detracts both from the experience of the players of the game, AND from their focus on the game. Do it enough, and you'll get restricted.

If you send a ticket in a rioter will look at it and see what happened. People have said that they sometimes help. But they'll know everything so if you did something before to deserve it they'll see

Post your chat logs if you want he!p determining what you may or may not have done to be punished.

Edit: Yes I have seen a few get unbanned.

Attacking/insulting teammates in any way consistently (over quite a few games) will eventually lead to a chat restriction. Most people who receive a chat restriction never get punished again since they change their behaviour.

tldr: yes, if you're using it as an insult it falls under the reportable category. If it's something done consistently (reported over many games) it's punishable.

Calling someone a bronze kid would be pretty insulting, yes.

Try just not saying it at all?

Can you post the logs? We only have you're word that it wasn't that bad, and I've seen far too many people try to claim that when, in reality, they said some pretty nasty stuff.

Edit: nvm, they were posted as I was writing

Hey there, Summoner.

This picture is a very accurate representation of the Instant Feedback System. 9 out of 10 times, your punishment was automated, so yes, if you are in fact innocent, send in a support ticket and a Support Specialist will get that straightened out for you.

Cheers!
