A while ago I got banned for two weeks for intentionally feeding. Just now, I just got banned again for two weeks for intentionally feeding. It is to my knowledge that there is a 4-tier punishment system, where a permanent ban will follow a 14-day ban. Why did I receive a two week ban instead of a permanent ban? My previous account received a permanent ban following a two week ban for intentionally feeding. Shouldn't this account have undergone the same fate?
That is my understanding of it, though if you were given a manual ban that may explain why the system didn't move you up a tier. Are you requesting Riot take a look at it?
Depends how long that "while ago" is. You can drop punishment tiers after "a while" of not-bad behavior. Typically this would be a few months with very few valid reports against you.
Regardless of the reason, take the chance you've been given and improve your behavior so that you don't end up permabanned again.

I just got 2 week banned for no reason too. Never had a warning and never did anything wrong and the account. They didn't even provide a description of the ban in the email either. Kinda pissed.
