Perma Banned For Calling Out Trolls In Game............. why is riot such an abuseive company.

OK. so yesterday i play a game where right off the bat in character select our ADC (cait) tells us hes going to ignore the team all game and just focus on farming. so i tell him fine, just farm because the ADC on the other team has far more games play as adc than ours. the REST of the game was spent with our ADC blatantly talking crap ALL game and dying alone in jungle because he WOULD NOT group with anyone. OUR WHOLE TEAM COMPLAINED ABOUT IT IN CHAT. But he refused to help anyone. he talked crap to EVERYONE ON OUR TEAM in game but because I get reported BY THE TROLL THAT OUR WHOLE TEAM REPORTED.... i get banned.

i didnt say a single thing that was racist or sexist, i didnt troll, i didnt cheat.. i literally got reported for not getting along with my troll of an adc. ill even post the chat that i was banned for.

THE SYSTEM IN THIS GAME HAS HUGE FLAWS.....WHERE YOU CAN GET BANNED BASED ON ONLY YOUR CONVERSATION AND IT DOESNT SHOW A SINGLE BIT OF THE OTHER PEOPLE AND THE FACT THAT EVERYONE ON MY TEAM AGREED WITH ME. AND IT DOESNT SHOW A SINGLE THING IN GAME. ITS COMPLETELY BASED ON BIASED CHAT. come on Riot. i can find little kids to moderate this game better than you.

what non of this shows in chat is the RESPONSE by the troll who would talk crap to the whole team saying we were "bad" and then RUN OUT IN TO THE OTHER TEAMS JUNGLE and die 4v1. and then blame the team. IN THE CHAT LOG YOU CAN ALSO SEE THAT I (AS SUPPORT) ASKED NICELY FOR OUR ADC TO STAY NEAR ME.... WHAT IT DOESNT SHOW IS THE FACT THAT OUR ADC (TROLL) REFUSED TO DO SO AND ACTUALLY CURSED AT US WHEN ASKING.

So tell me where exactly i deserve a perma ban because i have a disagreement with a guy that is hostile from the second we get in champ select.

Doesn't matter what other people do, only what you do.

You called people "noobs" (toxic), asked for reports (harassment).

You can either mute/ignore them and report after the game or participate in being toxic, which you chose the latter.

In a TEAM GAME it obviously matter what they do.....................I wasnt playing Dominion or playing with bots. i was playing ranked trying to WIN> it obviously makes a difference when you are playing ranked. How can a troll be rewarded for his acts in game but if i call someone out on it then its actually worse than trolling.

When it comes to moderating the player base with punishments, no it doesn't.

They aren't typing for you, only you are. Sure they might be acting like a douchebag but that doesn't justify acting the way you did.

Being toxic can be multiple things:

  1. Cursing out teammates in a negative way.
  2. Calling teammates derogatory names (bad, noob, feeder, etc.)

It's not just swearing, but creating an environment that the general population dislikes being in.

Also riot has defined (not sure where) calling for reports as a form of harassment. Asking players to report x is HARASSING player x even if they deserve a report. Saying it in all chat is even more harassment because the other team can't see your teams chat so they have no idea if they should report them or not.

My arguments are 100% valid. Good try though.

The fact that you got punished for your harassment contradicts your claim that people are "allowed" to do it. It doesn't matter who started it, neither of you are allowed to do it. "He started it" is a child's excuse; I suggest you not use it unless you're under the age of 10.

Or

Would you want to play with team mates who get along and are positive influences?

The reason why it doesn't show you the other chat is because it is not needed. I understand getting frustrated in game. However, retaliation is not okay. The best course of action to take if someone is being toxic, is to mute them and report them at the end of the game. All arguing with people does is lessen the experience for the rest of the people on your team, and make everyone perform worse. Retaliation is not okay in League of Legends.

To be clear, you didn't get banned for those three games alone. And you don't get a permaban for 3 games. You have to show a consistent behaviour that is more negative than most players in the game. You also get plenty of warning when you are leading up to the ban with a 2 week suspension before it, and warning before that.

If you feel your ban is unjust, you appeal your ban with Riot here if you so choose.

If you create a new account or get your ban reversed I implore you to use the mute button often and review the following information from Riot to help improve your communication. They will help you in any team-based game that you play in the future.

Get this into your head: Once you made account, you agreed you wont be negative to others for ANY reason. You basically signed that contract. There is no excuse: No troll, no feeder, no afker. There is no excuse for breaking contract. You decided to break rule, you got punished. What do you want now? If you didnt like rules, then you shouldnt have accepted them.

A report for that doesn't exist and more than likely would have been ignored by behavior moderators and riot support. One of the most powerful types of roaming is a support with a jungler.

You can mute him: Hold down TAB and click the speaker emblem. Or you can unbind enter to prevent you from speaking.

You can say things like: "Hey_____(jungler), lets gank mid. Lets gank top, lets invade for red buff/blue" A support is devoted to the team, not to one player.

If I has a support main can see that my adc, is playing why to safe and not dishing out as much damage as my top laner or mid guess who I am more willing to lose in a teamfight? You guessed it.... The ADC.

I have 14 Champions at 100% with one game played... Volibear Darius above 75% and 7 more above 63%.... [zombie-brand-clap]

I have in the neighborhood of 3600, assuming the same is true for you... you have around a 1600. But considering your repsonses, belittling, insults, and so forth. I can assume that you have been banned before and created another account. Or just did.

From my point of view I am a trash/garbage player. Why? Because I can always do better both score wise and teamwork wise. Toxicity can be directly linked to one's win/loss and the teamwork involved. I know I am toxic in ways that I try to consistently be "Should I really say that?" However this takes time and practice... It doesn't happen overnight. Encouraging your team is by far more effective than demeaning them or condescending everything they do.

You died to a gank? Your fault.

Your adc died? Your fault.

Your lane got ganked and you adc got killed? Your fault.

Enemy team took a buff? Your fault.

You get it yet? You CANNOT effect the game WITHOUT your team. Yes, Sometimes this means dying. Like recently I was playing Kassadin and the enemy team took a teamfight in their favor(I arrived late) and we lost a member and disengaged. They started baron, I dove in with less than half my health. I Died... but you know what? My team had baron... And that is all I cared about. My team.

We as players have the ability to inspire our teams to greatness, despite the weaknesses, hate, malice, anger, and depression. I have always viewed the support not as the ward master. But the Hero! The one that will die for you, make the play, be that bastion of light, the stronghold, a strong Braum to lean on. That guy/girl everyone can count on no matter the lane or place.

As Leona your sunlight should item 3363 the map illuminating the dark. But as a Support your first and foremost priority is your team, and their survival, not yours.

More importantly, your words, jokes, comments, curses, slurs, and so forth effect your team far more than a build or a player having a bad game. Why? Because the "heart is the strongest muscle!" Teamates that believe in you, trust you, and are congratulated or complimented by you.... Well, they will follow you anywhere. And a team that will follow you anywhere means the world is yours... So long as you take that opportunity.

The majority of what you said was mere opinion based on games you never saw. TOP LANES???? check my top lane games. i dont play them and only when i have to. i spent over 90% of the game HELPING my whole team if i agree with them or not... where in the log does it show that. from your "point of view" all you can see is a log and you actually pretend to have an IDEA of what happened, sorry but it doesnt work like that. i spent the majority of the game keeping a guy alive that didnt want to be. and dying RIGHT NEXT TO HIM IN THE OTHER TEAMS JUNGLE because he felt like running in their jungle by himself and dying to 3-4 of them. and even though he said "shut up" to EVERY ONE ON THE TEAM and STILL went alone... i still went in after him. yet again, your opinion isnt going to help you see a single thing that happened. i dont have these games every day or even every game. but should i really be perma banned for SPEECH... such speech thats not even racist or sexist or ANYTHING that would actually deserve this? thank god riot doesnt run for president.............. I assumed nothing. Because of this thread, your responses, your attitude, you demeaning/belittling others, name calling, insults... No, I do believe those are called "evidence of the fact." You were toxic to your teammates, determined by the automated system, and were punished for it.

You responded by posting a thread and posting one of the three games used to solidify your ban and help you understand why. And this is called "Evidence against the fact"

Consistent with the guidelines found at http://na.leagueoflegends.com/legal/tribunal, Community members, including you as a user, are allowed to submit descriptions of activity and actions of certain users within the Game, and collectively determine if that particular user was in compliance with the Riot Games policies relating to user conduct, including, but not limited to, the Summoner’s Code and the Code of Conduct (defined below). This system of allowing the Community to review user behavior in the Game is called The Tribunal®. Should The Tribunal determine that you have acted in contravention of any one of the Riot Games policies, Riot Games may, in its sole and absolute discretion, ban your use of the Game and suspend, terminate and/or delete your Account.

C. The Tribunal. All Chat will be recorded by Riot Games and stored for a period determined by Riot Games in its sole discretion, which period Riot Games may change from time to time in accordance with the terms of The Tribunal policy. Should your in-Game actions or conduct be reported by another user as being in contravention of the Summoner’s Code, in violation of this Agreement or outside the scope of any one of Riot Games’ policies, and should your case come before The Tribunal, the entire Chat log from that particular reported Game session will be included in The Tribunal report and available for viewing by randomly selected members of the Community who are eligible and opt to participate in The Tribunal.
