good luck getting that money back from a big corporation. it was your choice to spend money, they didn't force you. and don't play supp then. just let people do whatever they do and report them. if they did anything wrong, they'll get theirs as well.
I got to diamond playing only support solo so I'd say it's pretty far from an instant loss.
Almost all my Ranked wins come from me being support. And I'm terrible at this game. So this "Support is an instant loss" crap don't fly.
