Community is insanely toxic to newer players

I'm honestly trying to play this game but people are unbelievaly toxic. I've played two ranked solo games and I'm going against obviously WAAY better players than myself. The idea of going into a game, being denied crazy amounts of CS while I get shit on playing Tryndamere (A champion I either do good or horribly on, and then getting trash talked by my teammates 6 minutes into the game because my CS is 20. And then being told I'm being reported for trolling is crazy. I'm told to STOP playing ranked because of two games, they HOPE I get banned meanwhile the enemy team defends me at the end of the game. 0/4 Trynd YAAY. Didn't even feed. I missed my ULTI multiple times because I was reading cancer chat and was just baffled. Dude I'm somehow getting PTSD playing real games like holy shit. To get new players into League... is it even possible? guess You cant be a shitter like me. My buddy even quit.

Mute all, every game. You can communicate anything that needs to be communicated using pings. When you don't see the toxicity, you're much less likely to get tilted. Plus, you won't be tempted to try to defend yourself, which can occasionally escalate to being toxic in return and might get you in trouble too.

it's pretty horrible. I just mute them at the first sign so i don't let them ruin my game. Best feature added imo.

The community is crazy toxic to everyone, all the time. Veteran players are just used to it.

It's pretty freakin' awful, truth be told.

Yes it is and I really don't get it. If people really like the game, they should want as many people as possible to play it so that it stays around longer. What they're doing is the opposite of that. Driving people away

Part of the problem is that toxic players who get permabanned make new accounts and you wind up playing with them, thus getting the worst of the worst as far as flamers go.

It sucks but it is the way things are. You've got to use "/mute all" and even play exclusively with friends sometimes. You might be able to find a gaming community that is willing to bring you up in the game. I've heard that there are plenty of reputable and friendly such communities.

When I started ranking this season I would probably lose my lane so after that I would look up on youtube ''how to win lane'' or just watch pros play my champions and see what else I can do with this champion etcs... people will always be toxic so you can either mute or just improve yourself to stop losing your lane.

Don't worry bro, they got a new automated system that is doing a REALLY good job of weeding out all of the toxic players!

This doesn't excuse their behavior, but the matchmaking is horrendous at lower ranks so it never really tells new players apart from people with 1000s of games of ranked, so it's guaranteed to happen to anyone starting ranked. A lot of people know this so they get even angrier when they get someone 'new' on their team it's a guaranteed loss. I'm not blaming you or condoning their actions, just saying part of it is due to matchmaking accepting far too wide of a skill gap of people. A person who just started ranked shouldn't be with someone with 1000s of ranked wins, that's just common sense ,but the matchmaker doesn't care. I've also seen a brand new player end up against diamonds and golds in ranked, so there's that.

Now I'm just waiting for someone to come in and say 'but matchmaking works' with no explanation and acting like the examples I gave are just outliers, and new players will continue to be boned in ranked while everyone acts like it's normal. Anyone?

tbh tryndamere is a fest or famine champion and the ult is hard to hit if you have lag

Don't let those people bring you down, it'll always get worse, I'd just suggest practising more before going into ranked as it's a far more serious queue than normals and people will flame for the simplest reasons(especially since new players tend to be placed around silver elo where players are more toxic than bronze.)
