How many people are playing less League and why?

I've seen many people on YouTube and other platforms quitting league and how it isnt fun. Ive played a couple of games recently where some people fly off the handle and some others where I fly off the handle. The game just lost its appeal lately. It's no longer about who wins in lane because the jungle dominates that option and theres not much options for counter play. Warding does the job 80% of the time but with champs like Shaco and Evelynn by the time theyre spotted by your control ward the top laner unloads all his cc into and you get deleted. Wanna see your thoughts.

Its just a part of growing up. Some people change and no longer find the enjoyment they once saw. its not a bad thing. Personally for me, ive been playing less and less, but probably never to the point where i stop completely because its all in moderation. I think the people who are quitting the most are people who play nonstop, when that is going to be the cause of what becomes unenjoyable. You keep playing and playing, it starts to become a chore to even enjoy and that should never be the case. Thats why like now. i probably play a couple games on the weekend. Maybe some games during the week, but more often than not ill wait till i have free time on the weekend/whenever im off!

shrugs It swings in and out of fun at different times for different people. I have been playing less, but that is for 2 (maybe 3) reasons. 1 (maybe 2). I play LoL alone usually and recently have been playing other games with friends (Runescape [yup after 8-9 years I got back on, send help], Fortnite, PUBG, Tabletop Simulator, OW, or DnD/Pathfinder irl)

.3. I have been playing some of my single player games to try and put a dent in my Steam Library (I might be a Humblebundle addict). The fact they are remastering some old game doesn't help (.Hack GU with a volume 4!)

It's because people are bad at the game and aren't able to climb. People expect everyone to do good, but most of the time that's not going to be the case. You can't expect everyone to play good all the time. But, there are some really bad players out there and it feels like trash when you're doing good and someone is inting/afking/feeding, just trash at the game. That is why you have to play consistently at your best and help your team as much as possible or else you're going to lose because of your teammates inting.

I've been playing less for a while because I don't have anyone to play with at the moment (really only one person and he's not on much due to rl) so it's not as fun for me as it used to be. It also seems like the toxicity is just getting worse and it gets tiring dealing with that almost constantly it feels like. Plus they keep nerfing my mains so that doesn't help ^_^' I really only play a couple of games a day now, spaced out, whereas I used to play many games a day. Now it's more fun to play some of the games that have been gathering dust in my Steam library or play something on my PS4.

Granted, sometimes I'll get the urge to play a certain champ and I'll play a few games with them, but even that doesn't happen as often as it used to.

That sounds like a personal problem. If the game doesn't bring you joy then don't play it anymore. When people start getting frustrated to the point where it isn't fun is probably the cause of most trolling. Just quit if it isn't fun y'all.

I've reduced my play time due to family reasons.

Playing at home is iffy and I don't have as much time/money to play at the local gaming center.

My guess is there are way more new players, and perhaps some "veterans' leaving simultaneously, because I see a bunch of players who just don't seem to understand the game.
