So, I've been playing League of Legends for the past 6 and a half years. I've played throughout every season out there, and have a reward for everyone of them. Today , 27th of October 2016, I tried logging into my account only to find it being suspended for 2 weeks. Obviously I was shocked, as I generally don't talk to people in game, so It must have been a mistake, right? Well apparently not.

I received an e-mail, saying that I am suspended for MMRboosting. At first I didn't realize what that means, but after I read the whole email I realized that it's because I've logged in from a different location than my "usual" one. As a punishment not only am I left with 2 days of the season to get to Platinum, but they are also taking away my rewards from all the previous season AND I will not receive any reward for this season.

Let's make it clear, I'm a gold 1, i've been gold 1 for the last 2 months, struggling to get into Plat. I've been in Gold the whole season (except placement but that was quickly changed), you know how it is " have time" ,and before you know it it's September and you have 2 months to get your desired rating. I honestly feel that it's unfair of them to take away my rewards for the previous years, specially my Victorious Janna skin. This skin made me want to get gold rating in Season 2. It was the reason i got into the competitive side of the game. I saw it and thought "i want this", and I got it. 4 Seasons (almost 5 now) ago.

The reasoning of Riot for me using MMR boost is based on the fact that I've logged in from another country. Now I live in Europe, yes I know wtf am I doing in North American servers, but I like it here, I started here, I have a lot of friends from America and Canada that I play with and I've stayed. I travel a lot, very often outside the country, and I don't have a laptop, so I play from somebody else's computer. It has NEVER been an issue. When I go back home, or I visit a friend, or I travel outside the country, I login from their computer, their IP address and their location, but it hasn't been an issue.For 6 and a half years I've never been reported, not once for trolling, spamming, being toxic, unsportsmanlike behavior or negative attitude. I've received Riot's gifts for being a "model summoner" around the Christmas holidays, but all of a sudden I am MMR boosting? Obviously I have yet to receive a reply from Riot, which no-doubt would be little to no reasoning from their part, when I asked for evidence(judging from my past experiences with Support ), but I want to know if anyone else has gone through such a thing. Has anyone else experience such a ban ? What else can I do?

Lets review. Looks like your most played champions are supports and ADC's. Your Performance on them are no were close to the KDA's and win percentage of NIdalee, Ahri and Leblanc. Firstly, You never play jungle, and Mid. But they happen to be your most successful, It doens't take rocket science to see your account was boosted.

Not to menition the people you normally Dou with, aren't in the games were the Leblanc was played. I can't see the other games, because you change your account name. You can attempt to hide the evidence from us, but riot will see everything and knows to justify this ban based of evidence I've listed and some I can't see.

He never plays the role and the champions he picks normally are no were close in mechanics. He got boosted and got caught.

Compare his syndra, to the leblanc. Still think his account didn't get boosted?

As far as I'm concerned the two champions have high win rates in the first place. A newb could step onto the ranked ladder and dance circles around people. I see how you find it to be a highlight in a negative direction, but I still don't see concrete evidence that this person is in the wrong.

Show me some ip's that are entire states away from one another.

He never played them in previous season. He doesn't play those three champions, those three champions are highly used by Elo boosting services. I dont understand were your not connecting the dots. He doesn't play Leblanc, Ahri or Nidalee, but those are the champions boosters play a lot.

Look at his history, over the course of years.

Ok, you have very valid points...but regardless if I'm right or your wrong or vise versa, the fact of the matter remains the same. Innocence until proven guilty. Just pulling up op.gg doesn't prove a thing other than the statistics he's ran under those champions. If you had it your way, dude would already be sitting in jail for the candy bar he had some one else steal from the store. Unless there is some ip differences going down...or this so called elo booster lives down the block from him...there is no way to prove his guilt or innocence from looking through plain statistics.

Riot doesn't hand out the bans unless they know he's guilty. We can only guess based on what we observe from match history, but Riot has a lot more evidence to go on (they reference some of that in their Clairvoyance Blog, where they show that they can track how often someone uses spells).

The OP's own account of events spells out that that's not the case.

Let's make it clear, I'm a gold 1, i've been gold 1 for the last 2 months, struggling to get into Plat.

"Struggling to get into Plat", yet avoids their more successful roles/champions for 2 weeks? Only plays their most successful champion Leblanc 16 times out of the 472 ranked games they've played, despite winning 14 of those games?

75% win rate Mid Lane (28 games played, 21 wins, 7 losses) 52% win rate Support (235 games played, 122 wins, 113 losses) 44% win rate ADC (176 games played, 78 wins, 98 losses)

And yet, they still queue as Support/ADC...

None of it supports the OP's story. Either they're not trying to get to Plat, or someone else who mains Mid played their account.

Additionally condemning evidence, their warding. Looking at their last 200 ranked games, here's how their warding shakes out:

Mid Lane = 12.2 wards per game, buying 1.3 pink wards Support = 19.2 wards per game, buying 0.3 pink wards ADC = 9.9 wards per game, buying 0.3 pink wards

They buy a Pink Ward every single game as Mid, sometimes more, yet only buy one every 3 games as Support or ADC? It's hard to fathom a situation where a person buys more wards as Mid than they do as Support, yet that's what happens here. You can't even explain it away as having more gold, because they don't ward that way on ADC.

I've never changed my account name, not once nor I will. I use this name in every game that I play. If you must know I was a very successful jungler back in season 3 and 5 and it's how i met my current duo-queue partner. My Ahri games are few, I play her for the skins I have and same with LeBlanc. Both have a similar assassin style, to which I am accustomed to and I've played Leblanc since she was released and her R was doing 8 times the damage of Q.This is not my only account and the only one that I've played. The only reason why I don't play those roles anymore is because my partner plays Mid and Jungle only.

What are you talking about, Ahri was my go-to mid for the longest of times together with Syndra and LeBlanc. Championship Nidalee was gifted to me by a friend and i decided to pick her up. First you claim that I've changed my name, which never happened. Then you claim that I have NEVER played those champions, even tho I have plenty of Normal games with them. Ahri is in 2 games this season only and I don't even have an impressive score with her.

Ahri was your go to mid, but yet never played her in previous season? Your story has way to many wholes and there is no evidence to support your claims. How do you expect anyone to believe your not boosting? When it took two members of the community less then 2 minutes to discover the boosting?

Ahri - Level 2 champion mastery Syndra - Level 2 champion mastery Nidalee - Level 2 champion mastery Leblanc - Level 4 champion mastery

You certainly haven't played them often since May 2015, Normals or not. Most of the LeBlanc mastery was likely from those 14 wins in ranked that we're questioning.

At this point, If you want to save your account, Admit to Riot you payed for an account boost, That your sorry for the code of conduct violation and perhaps they won't perma ban the account, You've invested a lot of time into this account, and that you would like to continue to play on it. Your going to loose, your season 6 rewards, including the skin and border and maybe even be disqualified from next seasons,

They understand that people play from different locations due to travel (or are using IP changers) and don't ban just based on that, which you can read more about here; https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204168430-MMR-Boosting-Detection

They'll get to your ticket as soon as they can, and try not to bump it unless you have to with necessary information, because bumping puts it at the back of the queue again. I would recommend providing them with a list of all the places you played from, preferably with specific IP's.

This does not get you banned for boosting. Boosting is when you allow somebody else to play on your account. The specific machine or location you log in from is pretty much irrelevant.

If you have not shared your account with anybody, you should go through your match history to see if there are any games you don't recognize. Perhaps the account was compromised. Either way, the next step is to submit a support ticket and explain the situation, and then wait for a response.
