I have no idea why the bot laner players said no to remake, they feed then started telling me that "your mom is die", "your mom is not alive", "you should die",... then at the end of the game, I got reported and got restriction. And the bot laner players were duo, they both feed and curse, talk shit about my family, and that is all i said. then they reported me. Now I message riot and they told me that "the restriction was justified and will have to remain". Can you believe that gonna happen with you after people curse and talk shit about your family?

First of all, they started the fight first because I didn't have the whole chat to show you. Second of all, can you believe that they just told me that "your mom is die" and a lot of stuffs like that? What should you do if people talk shit like that about your family?

Hey there, sorry to hear you had to deal with those rude bot laners. Keep in mind there is a mute feature (accessible either by the tab menu, typing /mute summonername, or typing /mute @championname) that you can use to avoid having to see their abusive chat.

In this game, you were restricted because you constantly harassed your teammates for their poor play/behavior. The in game chat feature is designed and intended to be used for communication of game-critical information (such as future strategy). There is no need for you to utilize someone's score/play to belittle them, or for you to discuss who you are reporting and/or why. Those types of harassment and abuse only bring the team morale down, make the game less fun for everyone who you force to watch you do that, and make the game much harder to win.

they are not only bad, they are trolling. they have no kills and assists but they dead every 1 mins. they even rule when we were in the champion selection. they asked people to let they bot. and we have an dc player but they both said no then they feed, quit, come back, curse, being rule and talked a lot of shit about my family

I understand, and it sucks that you had to deal with that. However, that does not give you the right to flame them or act negatively in the game chat - the rest of your team doesn't want to see that.

I just want to say that based on what I said and what they said, I didnt say anything too bad. they said no to remake when we had dc player then they feed every 1 mins. Both of them have ZERO kills and assists, they are trolling and at the end, I got reported from them and got punishment. and they get away with that

It's not based on what they said though. Your punishment is based solely on your chat logs. It doesn't matter what they do or don't do - they are judged and punished on their actions, and you are judged and punished on yours.

Your entire chat log is you flaming them and harassing them. Your teammates didn't want to see that, and so they reported you, rightfully so. In the future I recommend you try to keep the in game chat short, sweet, and focused on the game - there's no need to talk about the past/what someone has or has not done, just talk about the future. Don't boss people around, but instead try and work with your team to find mutually agreeable options and strategies.

Not really. One report means the same as two, or as nine. Your chat was reviewed because at least one person reported you - and you have no way of knowing who that was. You contributed to the negative in game environment by going back and forth with the bickering at each other with the other negative players, and so you were issued a punishment for having contributed to the negativity.

Again, the number of reports does not matter. You are punished based on your chat logs and punishment history. They would be punished based on their chat logs and punishment history. It is possible that their chat did not rise to the frequency yet to merit a punishment.

In this instance why were they not judged for their actions? OP should of gotten a notice that says his report went through and the other party should of gotten the chat restriction as well. I don't see how this is fair that Rito is punishing only one side, when both sides were toxic.

People are generally not issued chat restrictions for one game unless they are either egregiously toxic or have come off a recent punishment. Further, the notice is only sent to the last person to hit the report button - if OP reported at the beginning of end-game lobby and another teammate/enemy reported the same game after him he wouldn't have gotten the notification, as the other player was the "last" report that was taken into account.

That being said, remember that being "judged" for actions does not necessarily mean a punishment is issued. Considering we don't have their chat logs or the game replay, we cannot determine if their actions warranted a punishment at all other than based on the hearsay that we have.

Thats not particularly true. In one instance I was duoing in a ranked game with a buddy, and we ran into some guy who rage quit mid game. In post game lobby my duo and I both reported him(pretty sure my whole team reported him as well). A few minutes later we both get notices that our recent report went through and the player has been punished.

That's a rarity. To be completely honest, I'm of the opinion that is not how the system is supposed to work. I also think the system is extremely buggy and so cases like yours where multiple people get notifications and cases where nobody gets notifications happen. Cases like this happen all the time where 2 people that report will get a notification but a third person also reporting doesn't, or cases where people don't get notifications at all but someone was certainly punished (as evidenced by them showing up to the boards and complaining about it later).

There've been a couple times I myself have played with someone, reported them, that game was the final game of their punishment, and then I see them come to the boards complaining about it - but I never got a notification even though it was likely I was the final report.

TL;DR: system buggy and not consistent in notifications - but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I don't understand how they'll overlook the bot laners in this game and only give you a chat restriction. IMO all parties should of gotten the chat restriction. Another example why Rito's system is flawed.
