When you are an OTP player and your team bans the champ

So I am a OTP player and I often experience that people say that the pick is troll. Some people ban my champ just because they want to troll me, others ban it because it is "not viable" they say. So I am tired of people knowing that they can make me dodge by banning my champ.

I think that it should have a consequence to ban the intended pick of a teammate since some people do this just to troll when they see you are a one trick, and they know that you are going to dodge. Because they know if they intend to play with their friends and want a free dodge, they ban your champ.

Is it only me who think that this is a problem the way that people behave in champion select?

They ban your OTP just to troll you? Simple. Pick something interesting and go farm the jungle, regardless of your role.

There'd be far bigger problems by adding "consequences" to banning allies picks than it would solve. Nothing says you have to dodge, that decision is completely on you.

That said, as a Xerath one-trick I'm in a pretty decent spot - public opinion is he's a fine champion, but he's seen so rarely that no one ever thinks to ban him.
