Riot's So-called Polices Have Been Helping Trolls

So, there was a troll in my recent game, took the lane that I called and picked in Champion Selection without any communication.

YES, this is blind pick, and I know a lot of people will say "oh, it's blind pick, why do you even care". But to be honest, there are a lot people playing blind pick normal games, and I believe that they want good gaming experiences too. For almost 7 years (all along), Riot has failed dealing with trolls like this.

And yeah, in this kind of situation, I refused to play with this kind of player. He ruined my game, and wasted time of the whole team (other players agreed with this). Later on, I was charged for being AFK by Riot. Lmao, really? Riot? So, bascially, Riot is telling me that I HAVE TO ACCEPT this kind of trolls and bad behaviours. I also know that there will be a bunch of people saying "oh, no matter what, you should keep playing". I mean, this doesn't make sense at all. If someone ruins my game on purpose, I still need to co-operate and keep playing? Really?

Plus, I accept the charge of being afk IF Riot deals with what that troll did. However, that's not the case. So, the victim has to accept what the troll's done to him, or he'll be charged for being refusing to compromise.

Great policies. No wonder there are so many trolls in this game, all along.

Shaky logic there.

Blind Pick is a mess. We know it, Riot knows it. I'm not sure how they'd fix it without basically just turning it into Draft, though, so for now it stays a mess.

If you AFKed from your game, Riot has no way of knowing if what you did was "justified". Surely you can't expect them to manually review any game where somebody cries "troll", right? Especially since the loose rules of Blind Pick mean that what your teammate did wasn't even necessarily against the rules.

Your afk seems warranted and necessary. Firstly, your original issue: helping the trolls. I'm thinking if afk's were allowed for this reason, then I think that just rewards the troll. Don't like me in your lane? you're free to afk and teammates will hate you. Secondly, when you afk, the rest of your team isn't dealing with a troll, but now they're dealing with 2.

Allowing for afk's just seems like you're worsening a problem, not fixing it.

The mistake you are making is to think that other people's behavior is an excuse for your own. We both agree people shouldn't steal your role. You don't get to waste 9 people's time just because one of them has been mean to you.

You're free to keep playing blind picks of course, but if your complaint is that people take your role, you should at least consider using the queue that is specifically designed to garantee you play your role.
