Riot's broken punishment system.

Hi! With the growing outrage of Nightblue's report on a Teemo mid, I thought I would bring up my own story of how hypocritical riot's banning system is. Anyways, there was a Lux who built full tank and roamed alongside the jungler. The Lux also went to lanes every so often to steal a couple of minions. I'm not such why they did this but I'm guessing they did this because they didn't get jungle. Anyways, I got fed up with her coming to my mid lane and smiting minions; I kept begging her to stop trolling and sell all her tank items for support items like ardent or even AP. After the game, I was immediately 14-day banned. When I sent a ticket, I got a reply advising me to stop typing and wait until the end of the game to report. Seems normal. But when I compare this to Nightblu's experience with a troll Teemo, I immediately felt angry. Let's not forget how Nightblue used the "R" word and still didn't get banned.

Literally, my lux came to my lane, stole minions then went straight down to the tower. She didn't get banned since I would be notified via pop up if she did.

Riot if you are reading this, your punishment system will remain an embarrassment to the rest of the game. Its standards garbage and unfair.

I mean seriously? Unbanning T1 because your game is dying/ becoming unpopular? Banning troll Teemo because Nightblue is famous and has contact with you guys? Then when others begin to troll you tell me they're not and we should let people try out new meta??? I mean you're the one who endorsed a non-traditional bot laner then you ban meta's like singed support/jg

You're late to the party if you think the outrage is in the "growing" stage.

Everything died down once Nightblue was assigned his own punishment. Now all that's left are the people who are late to the original story and haven't bothered to see the updates or Riot responses.

Just another "League is dying" post.

Information missing, what type of game mode was it; Draft or blind?

Draft there is a better case for punishing, but if that was the only instance of the Lux doing it, then just looks like an one off start attempt. that maybe raises a few flags but not enough for an automated ban. With the Teemo Support case there was already a history of the Teemo doing this; most noteably in matches with streaming streamers.

Blinds, well, there are no assignes roles so wherever you wanna be is okay.

Tyler1 was un-ID banned, no accounts were unbanned. ID bans are sort of a special case that do warrant reviews down the line.

See previous remark about the Teemo already having a history of it before that game.

If someone is trolling, is yelling/getting on them actually going to make them go "dur hur. You right. Sorry. Play real now." Probably not, so may as well not feed the troll.

Singed case was another case of not coordinating with your team and forcing them into a strategy they weren't comfortable with.

Yep. Someone else engaging in reportable behavior isn't an excuse for you to do the same.

Yes, he did.

No, you wouldn't necessarily. You don't get an IFR every single time.

T1 didn't get any accounts unbanned. His ID ban was lifted. That means that Riot will no longer manually keep an eye on his streams and instantly ban any LoL account they see him use.
