Can a Rioter assist me?

I'm a long time player, more specifically I've been playing since 2011. I'm actually in fear that my behavior is going to get me banned and even though all the chances I've been given by Riot I honestly find it hard to reform my behavior. I've been given so many chat restrictions so many 1-2 day bans several 1-2 week bans and I really don't want to throw away the career and fun I've had on this game. Recently I realized how close I am to losing my account and everything I've ever accomplished along with the people I've met. I really want genuine advice and would love to hear from a Rioter with some sound advice as well. Thank you for reading.

The best general advice I can give anyone is to mute toxic players immediately. Once they make a rude comment, cut them off from doing it again because it could get worse. Letting them go on is what leads to getting upset and responding to them in a toxic manner.

If they are bothering you through gameplay (stealing farm, ping spamming you, trying to bait you to die), just play as if they are a liability rather than a troll and of course mute them and don't talk to them. Their objective is to see you get angry, and not giving them that satisfaction is how you win. Reports against them will work whether you say anything to them or not, and if you've done nothing wrong then their reports can do nothing to you.

Feel free to curse them out, but out loud instead of in the chat :3

Turn off LoL music and play calming music. I prefer purely instrumental my self. I also recommend that if you get very caught up in the game and that leads you to rage then turn your volume down a bit. Sounds can have a big impact on your mentality and games are designed to get you engrossed. Turning it down can help you think more clearly.
