If someone DC's in the middle of the game, can Remake be triggered (10 minute delay from time of disconnect?), with the winning team getting win credit, loosing team get some kind of remake credit, and leaver get loosing (leaver) credit (heavy penalty)?
ModThe Djinn2 votesUnfortunately this isn't really a good solution, as it's pretty easy to exploit with either Smurf accounts you don't care about (have your friends play with you and just leave whenever you're losing) or with toxicity, as players will likely start to flame teammates to get them to disconnect mid-game if the game looks like it's going badly, just so they can remake and avoid the loss.
A very good point. Would this still be valid if they are playing for 10 minutes after leaver leaves and the rest of the team is stalemating. At this point, it's usually a snowball.

Wouldn't the LP come from the looser? As I said, loosing team gets remake credit, but the person who left would get the leaver credit.

To clarify, I am not saying that @ gametime 10min, there should be an option to remake.
I'm saying if the team with the leaver has the leaver disconnect, and survives (drag out the game) for 10 minutes (some arbitrary number) they have an option to remake. However, I know that remaking at that point is going to be a pain for the winning team, so they would be awarded LP compensation, the loosing team will get remake (or some soft LP deduction), and the main culprit would get the main brunt of the loss, since the afk was longer than 10 minutes. 10 minutes is a number that most people should be able to bounce back from if they accidentally DC due to glitches or something of the sort.
However it was brought to my attention that smurfs could possibly be abused in this fashion.
