Impact is trolling me

Starting Impact has made me a nervous wreck this split. Week one, he didn't start the first 2 games, and now C9 just started Ray against TL. C9 doesn't seem to announce this anywhere either, but impact is one of the highest ppg top laners, and options are limited after the EU changes. This is also an issue with rosters that change mid-split, and although it usually only affects weaker teams, its still frustrating having your players randomly replaced without very much notice. Thus, I propose that instead of picking a player, you pick a position on a team. So if i were to pick C9 Top, i would get the points for Impact and Ray in the weeks they both play instead of limiting the player pool even further. Also, we wouldn't have to fret over the situations were players are known to be splitting time, like what everyone thought Goldenglue and Link were going to do at the beginning of the season The only benefit i see in the current system is that it punishes inactive players if by chance they ended up drafting a player that gets subbed out, etc. Realistically, i think it makes a little more sense not to screw over certain players though. I'm pretty salty about this because it has already directly affected the outcome of 2 different weeks, as if I had rays additional points in those 2 week one leagues, I would have won them both.

i 100% agree with you....like i don't even care now about my fantasy. We are doing NA only fantasy....Guess who i have top lane as well....Impact. The no notice thing is really unprofessional if you are going to make a fantasy league for people who participate. Like i get it, they can make roster changes like 5 to 10 minutes before the match. Just in fantasy world it's a huge let down. I'm still a cloud9 fan regardless, but in fantasy....i'm so tilted. Plus it gives my opponents the chance to go " ah man that sucks" but secretly they are like " thank God" because you know...its a competition and they want to win and you don't want to lose. But i want to lose because i truly lost. Not because i wasn't informed in time and they decided to put a less tier Top laner over arguably the Best top laner in the west...Impact. Just sayin. Go Cloud9 though

*Edit They did Put Impact back in game 3 and am receiving points..... :( i'm a flawed ungrateful human being sometimes. Forgive me.

I agree with you. I traded Bjergson to get impact this week and now he doesn't play. WTF RITO give me my points. I don't wanna loose fantasy because of this and also fk C9 for not informing us and also fk Impact

This made me so salty too, 'cause, as you mentioned, EULCS' lack of useful picks makes it nearly mandatory to have a full NA roster, so it makes it even worse to have a player that, as Impact, gets changed at the last minute. There has to be a solution in the Fantasy for this problems or this will get less and less appealing to play each split.

Riot should really give the people who picked Impact a chance to win. Make it so that the points Ray earns will be transferred over. I'm picking a top laner from C9 so whatever the top laner earns is the points I will get.

They just put Impact back in for game 3. At least I will get a few points from this match... Still salty though.

I completely agree with you. First off, C9 or Riot should have gave some statement before the match that they were benching Impact, in order to allow us time to re-adjust our lineup. However, there was absolutely no information to allow us room to change our lineup.

As I result, I'm feeling particularly salty after placing a high emphasis on Impact during the drafting phase, for I expected him to put up large, consistent points. However, the fact that he was benched with no prior warning truly irks me. Honestly, it's really unfair to be locked into a player without knowing that that player would be benched (or unable to play due to other reasons), leading to a decrease in points.

subs/injuries/suspensions are part of every fantasy league known to man... its the risk you take with any player...
