Fantasy LCS 2016 NA More points over EU balance issue?

So I heard they're going to make EU LCS have best of 2s and NA best of 3s , how is this gonna impact fantasy points since Na players get to play more games and earn more points by doing so over EU players, sure that would make NA players better by default. Not sure when they're going to implement the new formula , spring or summer split.
